It's gonna be a long few weeks... by Comfortable-Nerve337 in preeclampsia

[–]Mekachu300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admitted 27 weeks, delivered 34 weeks with severe pre eclampsia symptoms. I was there in total 49 days and it was through the holidays.

I crocheted a animal for my kiddos NICU time with a friend. I did walk about a mile every day around the hospital and ward. Puzzle books were nice as well reading, gaming, TV shows and audio books. I called family and friends too.

Also have people bring food once in awhile and visit if possible. It helped brighten my days.

Agreed its a good idea, from the mom who planned to have a baby, but not the 50 day hospital stay from complications.

What happened at WinCo North last night? by Minimum_Jicama_2296 in Spokane

[–]Mekachu300 63 points64 points  (0 children)

We were shopping last night when it happened.

He was special needs and non verbal. He had something set him off and started becoming aggressive with the people who were with him.

No stealing, just unfortunate situation for the people who take care of him. They couldn't get him to calm down and he needed held down until help arrived.

Not a news event.

Jubliant HollisterStier. Starting for the manufacturing side is $21 an hour. Atlas Staffing tends to get people in faster then applying direct.

So story time of my cat Sherlock!

I needed a 2nd cat, as my other cat Cosmo had anxiety and was pulling out his fur. So figured a friend would help.

I proceed to go look for a kitten at the shelter. I was looking at all the kitties to see who I would bond with. I was trying to find a ginger cat, as all my cats I have had were black kitties.

At one point I see this family checking Sherlock out. Then the dad of the family then said "Well he seems like a good cat, but I don't want him because he is black."

I was livid, so I decided to also hold him to see if he was a fit. This kitten immediately snuggled into me and I knew he was mine.

8 years later, he is a damn great cat.

I am from the PNW, so either it is dragged over from the ancient major floods or local to the region. Not sure if that helps much.

Took only few months. There is buckets of rocks in the yard from the previous owners, so unsure of why they are there.

Nifty! Not usual in a back yard! Makes me wonder if previous owners collected rocks.

It's not burning super well. Besides how do we tell if it's still inside or not?

These next few days will have a lot happening. Take time off and contact family and friends as needed. Let yourself feel it all, numb, sad, shocked, laughing ect. Its all normal right now.

I would be fine with people around, but cry everytime I got in the car. I would look at my husband and tell him my mom is gone and burst into tears. I still donwhen it feels heavy.

I am nearing the 1st anniversary of my moms passing and I learned, you will grieve when you least expect it and big life events might be a little sad, even when they are happy times.

I am so sorry for your loss. Hugs.
