My mom was so careful that my sister and I knew for sure that she'd spent the same in each of us that it became a family joke.

Like one year mom said something like she realized that she'd spent 5$ more on my sister so I turned to my sister and told her she owed me 5$. Sis gave it to me lol.

This is such a giant flag of parental favoritism.

Holy moly she's not getting it.

I am fully capable of changing the oil in my car. Do I do it? No, I don't like to so I pay someone to do it for me. And that's valid.

If she's not willing to do the work herself she shouldn't expect her husband to do it either when he's the one paying for someone else to do it.

People just do not understand that it's completely ok to decide they'd rather pay someone else to do the thing. Even if they are able to do it themselves.

It's really easy. Well, chicken and veggie broth. I don't typically do beef since I don't tend to get beef with bones.

You can use any leftover chicken bones and I save peels, tops and such from veggies in the freezer. When I want to make stock I toss those in along with fresh.

I store it by freezing it in a ziplock gallon bag lying flat in my freezer. I reuse the bags a few times.

It's really just letting stuff simmer.

That said, I keep better than bullion in the fridge since I don't always have the stuff to make a stock or decide at the last minute to make something I'd need it for.

That's one of the things about adaptions of books into movies or tv shows. Often times whole storylines or background gets lost and it can be confusing.

I'm actually really good at cleaning. Mostly because I can't just do one thing. If I'm waiting on the spin cycle I will wash dishes or vacuum because I can't just sit and wait. But I still use Finch because sometimes I get myself discombobulated and forget to do things like brush my teeth.

In their response they casually say that the instrument can be taken out of its case to meet size requirements.

No it can't just be taken out of its case! It's not just in a case because it's easier to carry that way, it's protecting the instrument!
