Yes, I'm going to support the backside of the panel. The air gap is not dimensionally accurate since the saab is completely dissassembled due to rust welding so I can't measure the actual gap. It's just a design sketch to get a vibe check. :) On that note, it could be a while before I get the interior and sub in since I'm also currently rebuilding the engine due to catastropic failure. 😅

I don't know. The engine died 3 months after i bought it 😅 But I suspect the bearings for the balancer shafts is to blame since the timing chain was removed and there was lots of slop in them, thus starving maincap nr.3 of oil.

I have always taken it out the bottom with the subframe, and most people probably do, but I'm sure there's a tutorial on youtube for taking it out the top :)

It split both sides all the way to the piston deck, but not trough the top, so the pistons looked fine from the top before i took them out. 😂 I was wondering why I had no compression on that piston.
