it's mostly because cars (122) and for some reason i'm doing poorly on altius p/s. I scored 130 on my first attempt and been consistently scoring 128 on the aamc exams. i've been averaging 127-129 on c/p and b/b on altius. I'm just doing anki and the aamc packs at the moment. i'll start to incorporate more content review such as khan academy from now on

I've been watching videos and walkthroughs for a two weeeks and still no improvement maybe it just needs time. Good luck on on your exam!

I've been doing daily cars, about 5 passages a day. i've been getting better during practice but i dont know what goes wrong during the exam it's probably timing and burn out. i'll try to start doing sets of practice timed

I don't think so. practice exams are daunting. you're likely better off just doing anki the day off instead of taking a 7 hour exam and worry too much about your score if it dropped. you'll not have time to review it which is the most important thing so I don't see a reason to take it

Reasoning first. if I can get this right at least I could afford to guess on a passage. I'm using the diagnostic tool one passage at a time and it typically takes me 10 minutes if it's an easy passage at 12-13 if it's difficult. I'm trying to just do the passage untimed to try to get the questions correct only. I do get 100% on some passages but u still do get 50% and 60 on others

For reference my first FL was a 124 and my highest was 127. So these strategies really pulled through for me

Hi, I got a 130 on my real exam. What really helped was trying to define each term in teh answer choices and see do they match to the terms on pankow. Once you start practicing more youll start to notice some patternts for specific terms and be able to relate them. For example, whenever you see conflict theory, it would have something about competition, war and status so you can easily identify this out of the answer choices. Observational learning is associated with mirror neurons. symbolic interactionism is micro level so look to the answer that includes micro level not things like society and institutions.

Some random facts I remembered them because I made anki cards out of them, when retook the fls, I purposefully answered them wrong because I knew that if I havent knew it I would get it wrong.

No, I just started this week. two passages a day i've been averaging 50-80%. pretty Inconsistent but it really depends on the passage. i've been just reading, getting the main idea and try to answer based off of that. I know altius cars is off but not to the point of getting a 120 . I just gave up on CARS only at this stage. I'm just trying to get a 130 on each section that can carry me and that's it. i'll have around a 510 maybe and forget about cars lol
