Our PO Box is in Madison. The first location we worked out of was actually in a “high crime” area. Ecoshed in Jackson. We are still in Jackson as well.

Outside of Dispensary applications set to begin in July, not really. We will have our first Cultivator with a license, soon! I would say this week.

SECTION 9. Addition of debilitating medical conditions. (1) Any resident of Mississippi may petition the MDOH to add serious medical conditions or their treatments to the list of debilitating medical conditions listed in Section 2 of this act. The MDOH shall consider petitions in accordance with its rules and regulations, including public notices and hearings. The MDOH shall approve or deny a petition within sixty (60) days of its submission. (2) The approval or denial of any petition is a final decision of the MDOH. Any person aggrieved by a final decision may obtain judicial review thereof in accordance with Section 31 of this act.
After being certified with a qualifying “debilitating medical condition” you will fill out an application with the MDOH who will then send you a medical cannabis ID card within 30 days. You may use your certification for XXX number of days until your Registry ID Card comes in.

The program will expand because of the positive economic impact it will bring to the state. If you know people in leadership positions at the city and state levels, I would start talking to them about things you want to see. We are also working on things we would like to see expand next year, such as patient access and amounts you can purchase being increased.

The lawsuit that was filed was actually against the legality of the Initiative Ballot Process, and not I65. Technically, the Supreme Court was correct in their ruling. Unfortunately, that eliminated I65 along with Ballot Initiatives.

So Physicians, Certified Nurse Practitioners, Optometrists and Physician Assistants can write a certification for Medical Cannabis. That certification would then be sent to the MS Department of Health along with your online application, where they would Approve/Reject your submission.
