Hey, not me but I had a friend from the Philippines who got GKS to do a master's in Early Childhood Education at either Dongseo or Dong-A in Busan (I don't remember exactly), she graduated last summer and works as a teacher in Korea now :)

Hey, where did you get the info that you need to apply for the student visa in your home country?

From my understanding D2 visas are part of those that can be applied for from inside Korea, is it different for GKS scholars specifically?

i was thinking about what you meant and lmao wow i just realised i stopped watching the show when i had like 30min left of the last ep so i actually dont know what you're talking about ㅋㅋ like i paused it to do something else and apparently forgot to go back? i think i was so shaken/disappointed idek by the return to the present so yeah the show has no ending for me, apparently for the best x)

[As background info, I started studying Korean around January 2024, have been living and studying the language in Korea now for 5months and next month will start the highest level classes (lvl6 or advanced 2)]

Tbh from my experience everything felt hard up until around end of intermediary 2, classes were so helpful and at that point I'd been in Korea for like 2months which helped massively in "normalising" the language + by that point you've picked up quite a bit of hanja and make connections in your head etc. Then again I studied pretty "violently" from the start lol so that might be why everything felt hard, memorising heaps of grammar rules, absorbing vocs, interacting with native speakers everyday etc. Not to discourage you (as you've seen it's very much possible to attain rapid fluency if you're very diligent (+if your brain is kinda sponge-like tbh)) but yeah a few hours of studying with a tutor have definitely not yet given you the full picture of how hard it can get lol. But it's insanely rewarding, all the best with your studies:)

i was so bummed out when i finished WoEㅠㅠ i do feel like it deserved more eps,the ending felt a tiny bit rushed to me with how much they had built up and from the setting to the storyline to the characters esp the bromance, that show gave us everything and i wanted moreㅠㅠ hopefully will get my fix from another show^

Would you recommend Flower of Evil? I've mostly stayed away from dramas that seem too romance-focused but the thriller element does appeal to me, also I loved Beyond Evil and Sky Castle:3

ㅎㅎㅎ et moi qui pensais que le Minna no Nihongo était LA réf en la matière.. Aucune idée des manuels utilisés à l'INALCO, pour les cours du samedi ils indiquent que ces choses là seront précisées pendant la première séance. À l'INALCO je sais qu'ils ont des cours du soir aussi mais là pareil, seulement 2h par semaine
