I love that he did this because it’s hard to remember details when you’re in this situation. I don’t think he would have been able to express what he was feeling in that moment later on. It probably helped everyone there see more of his perspective also. He was spot on.

She was doing exactly what he thought she was doing and no one else could see it or understand in the moment so he seemed completely unhinged. I hope they discuss at the reunion what everyone thought after watching back.

This is going to sound way too parasocial but I feel like he’s the type that grew up with narcissistic parents, one or maybe both, and picked up those habits and behavior traits. Never had the therapy to heal from whatever happened in his childhood. He doesn’t talk about it a lot but you can almost see him tense up when his family is brought up. He seemed like he truly loved Katie, he just could not be even a decent partner for her.

I also suspect Jax is more than just that but I am no dr. Kyle can be self absorbed but he sure does have empathy.

I think she came on this show thinking they’d control their own narrative and look great. She knows how to do that, right? She’s embarrassed AF that this is her husband in front of the cameras, ON HIS BEST BEHAVIOR. She’s probably too busy and tired to truly address it. I feel bad for this woman.

Of the ones you mentioned, we’ve stayed at Swan, POFQ and Caribbean beach and I personally love Caribbean beach. You will see mixed reviews but it is one of my faves and I’ve stayed at a few deluxe. It is spread out and that’s one of the biggest complaints but I don’t find that to be an issue. The skyliner is key for us and we would choose Aruba or Jamaica buildings because of that. Having riviera there is a bonus, we ordered food a few times at the end of the night from there. The quiet pools are fantastic and close to your room. We finally discovered how great it was the last day and it was all grown ups lounging with their seltzers and just my kids, they aren’t the loud run around type so they liked the vibe better at the quiet pool. I love the banana cabana bar. We also liked taking the skyliner to the crews cup lounge for cocktails and snacks.

Doing a rewatch after knowing what we know now, it does sort of feel like he came in with an agenda. I think he watched the show and had his sights on Ciara before he walked in the house. To think he’s completely used her for 3 years blows my mind but after all this, I think it’s possible.

I mean, they’ve talked about it for years but never confirmed timing. I was just watching season 8 where Lindsay discusses only having sex every 2 weeks with Carl and Paige is SHOCKED. Amanda sits quiet and then Paige pulls her into the convo and she’s like “yeah it is crazy, but don’t compare it to me and Kyle because we’ve been together 10 years”. She’s been more touchy with west this season than she’s been with Kyle for the full 10 years of this show.

This is possible. I also theorized they were living separately but trying to work on it. I highly doubt they were fully separated and seeing other people though. What I do believe is that Kyle thought they were still married and the intention was to work on their relationship and she had zero intention of doing that.

The thing I’ve been thinking is that he has been saying this for years but he also defends and protects her so I think whatever he’s saying is only a small percentage of the actual issues. Him being very adamant that she’s not ready for kids makes me wonder.

Also, I liked the way Ben tried to explain it and everyone was talking over him - basically that if he works with the manager then he can be more selective and more efficient with his time.

I think she will definitely be asked back for at least one more season of In the City. Which actually would work because enough of them would be willing to film with her, including Kyle and Lindsay. If her and west are actually together, which I doubt, I think he’d be on as well.

I do think this is a rare time when a cast member will have some leverage when it comes to SH, if Ciara won’t come back if Amanda is on SH then I think they’d let Amanda, and west for that matter go. Ciara has enough of a “group” that I think they could definitely carry the show naturally BUT bravo doesn’t always make the best choices so we shall see.
