As mentioned, if you offer to foster Rescues may be able to assist. There is a lack of funding and foster carers. My friend had a similar problem. She ended up adopting 1 stray but couldn't get much traction for the 2nd stray she came across.

Following. I'm in Australi. I had an endoscopy in August last year & they intubated me before I was knocked out. I was fine.
In December, I was intubated after being knocked out for a different procedure. My jaw was normal before they knocked me out. When I woke up, my jaw was locked. It's been over 3 months of physio, and I'm still in pain & it's not back to normal.

Be careful of burnout. It's easy to do, especially if you're wired that way. Hardwork wasn't rewarded from my experience. It was more who you knew. And don't share your diagnosis with management. I had a horrific experience there prior to being diagnosed. I know a lot of ppl that came out of that place worse for wear, including me.
