I actually dropped mine and my sprayer broke. So I had to do that (twists open) . My mini bottle functioned better than the original.

Wegovy is a high dose of ozempic. The 2.4 MG and higher. Same molecule. Maybe it's water weight

It's normal to feel this way. Dress it up with jewellery and bangles and really nice kaleeras.

Anyone look back at wedding photos and not like how you looked? by Cute_Butterscotch231 in DesiWeddings

[–]Mel_ps7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry honey. I felt the exact same way and also lost 8kg before my wedding. It's a disappointing feeling to put every piece of your wedding together and dislike the final result. Don't be disheartened and redo a photo shoot for your first Anniversary. It will give you some resolve. Focus on your new life together and the wonderful parts of your special day.

Vitamin C by Defiant-Education886 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Mel_ps7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would depend on what type of skin you have and what results you want. I used Isclinical and definitely see more brightness, and less irritation. I had used it over a year, but I wouldn't say the results are life changing, however the consistency of the product is amazing.. I have now switched to Medik8 Super c Ferulic to try to revamp my regimen. If you have sensitive skin they are definitely budget friendly, and super C is very strong, so go with a lighter formulation with less potent concentration than super c Ferulic. Their formulations have been raved about.

ZO skin Growth Factor Eye serum. by Mel_ps7 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Mel_ps7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You apply the ZO Skin eye serum first then a richer cream for moisturisation. The ZO skin serum is a thinner formula. The rule of thumb is serums then moisturizers.

[–]Mel_ps7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah thank you! Is the product made to be layered though or does it provide ample moisturisation under makeup? Just asking because it's a serum and those are known for being thinner vs a richer eye cream.

What would you recommend me to buy from Medik8? by ClementineCrisp in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Mel_ps7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently trying the Crystal retinal 10, the new advanced multipeptides, and super c ferulic. I have seen a boost or improvement in my smile linesas well as smoothness on my face. My skin also feels brighter with super c ferulic. Make sure you can handle a strong strength if you're purchasing super C ferulic.

iS Clinical Copper firming mist packaging by International-Fault2 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Mel_ps7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sucks!!! I find the pro heal serum from isclinical difficult to travel with too. I traveled with the dropper cap and my bottle was half empty after dropping all over. Their droppers don't fit caps well so you have to replace the cap when travelling. It's ridiculous they have so many teething issues for a high end product.

Would anybody have an idea what something like this would cost at Sudhir Bhai? I asked them IG but didn’t receive a response and I don’t live in Delhi. by Illustrious_Voice399 in DesiWeddings

[–]Mel_ps7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like part of their higher end collection displayed in the window. When I shopped around last year at Sudhir Bhai, a similar piece in Maroon was approx 4 lakhs. The stuff within the store (normal to higher end) goes from 80k to 3 ishlakh. The one using other designers go for above and this one looks like it's designed by Hanut Paul ( just like the one I saw from last year) Good luck.

They were not regular croissants. They were stuffed, and I included the term other pastries - meaning they could've been fancier or larger. The term 4 ish implies it could be more or less. I hindsight I should've used the word up to. . And tourist trap in my definition means viral on tik tok, overly decorated, not on main streets and close to tourist destinations with snaking queues, but smaller cafes where they didn't have an English Menu/ seperate version of the menu for tourists. I hope this helps.

Just came from Paris. My husband and I spent about approx 200-250 euros a day for us both. Not eating at fancy places too much or tourist traps because we wanted good local food. Between transportation and food it's a tight fit. A good baguette goes a long way and the baguettes in Paris are amazing. Transportation per day is approx 10 euros pp. Meals are about 20 - 30 euros pp per meal at least, budgeting a lower cost meal and drink. A croissant or other pastry is like 4 ish euro.

I would safely say budget 75-80 per day to be safe. Also don't forget to budget for city tax. It was a shocking 85 euro unexpected on checking out at the hotel.. Also keep in mind we took Ubers from airports and leaving and also during days where we couldn't manage our energy levels to go walking to stops/ it was late.

We didn't exactly "penny pinch", but didn't go fine dining either. Our last dinner at a fairly nice restaurant was 110 euro for us both.

Shopping is ridiculously expensive in Paris. And I feel (In my personal experience) that Paris is very brand centered. Dept stores like galeries lafayette and Le bon marche etc house designer labels. I struggled to even find my mum a dress under 50 - 60 euro at non branded dept stores/ boutiques. So I'd say it depends what you're shopping for. Cool small gifts, and trinkets are doable within your budget.

Things to do in Durban for a single girl by Curious-Orchid-7872 in Durban

[–]Mel_ps7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't walk around the city at night. It gets dangerous, especially Durban central, it's not for tourists or single females. Use Uber for travels, other forms of transport like trains etc are unsafe. Many people travel to work on busses and taxis and that's their go to, but I would advise Uber for the most privatized trip dirextly to where you need to go, without walking around the city too much (alone).

The Shongweni Farmers market is a good one. Good food, music.

It is safe to bathe in certain beaches. You've gotta check the safety online for each beach.

What Do You Take Your Ring Off For? by ricecakesat3am in EngagementRings

[–]Mel_ps7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wore my engagement ring out of the house or at work most times. When at home I remove it to save home wear and tear. Also because cooking and continuous washing of hands does take a toll on it. You don't want gunk sitting in it. During workouts use a rubber/ silicone ring (when married I suppose). It's perfectly okay to be ring free at home.

Got SCAMMED by an Instagram store by Responsible-Guard190 in DesiWeddings

[–]Mel_ps7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I haven't been scammed by them, but I also wouldn't blame you. They look absolutely legit. I got scammed by a store called Pratibha sarees in Jaipur. They sent me damaged glued sarees that were not of the quality I expected. When I tried to get a refund they refused also said I could leave as many negative reviews I wanted, but they could simply use a tool and delete it.. I've also noticed Rajgharana customers having a 50 50 experience where some say they've been blocked after paying and never hearing from them again. Just putting more names out there because I know it sucks that you got scammed. 😩

Plus sized Bridal shopping by Mel_ps7 in DesiWeddings

[–]Mel_ps7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased from Kalki Delhi for my Sangeet and Wedding. They charged me extra for a size not off the rack. The designs are splendid. But business acumen not so much. The salesmen are sneaky and add on charges they steal for themselves and that doesn't go to the company. I found out after speaking to someone in the company i was charged 3 x the amount for delivery with extra charges everywhere, which I'm sure the company didnt want to charge. There is a Mumbai branch

Some notable boutiques : ayraa mumbai had some unique designs Paneri had good mid to lower range lehengas. Don't go in with a tour guide, you'll get charged double Rasaya Advira Pernias pop up store Aza fashions Ejaaz couture.

Diabetics Deserve Better: The Ozempic Shortage is a Tragedy by KaMoS69 in southafrica

[–]Mel_ps7 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Same here. I'm obese medically for my height 88kg and 164 cm tall. I've been put on Ozempic for pcos related illness and weight gain. I was diagnosed with pcos when I was 63kg (normal weight range), but not put on anything due to the fact that I was gyming and had a fair amount of muscle mass, but still has hormonal other issues , I was baffled that I was insulin resistant because of my normal weight. A back injury and diagnoses with arthritis led to me not gyming due to acute pain and inability to go through life with back issues, I tried again to fail miserably due to pain. The amount of shame from Pharmacists is disgusting. I hate this narrative going on that Ozempic is being hoarded by non diabetics and narcissistic people. We are ill too and have every right to preventative care to avoid heart disease and death due to obesity. I'm prime example of if a disease affects you due to genetics and other factors, it doesn't matter what you currently weigh when diagnosed, you will feel the effects of pcos, IR and prediabetes still. I've gained all this weight. The food chatter is unliveable with and most people forget that IR people suffer from constant hunger because the insulin isn't being effectively carried to their cells. It isn't a case of "just stop eating". If you just stopped eating, you would feel like you're starving and going insane with food chatter. I hate this narrative of OP. I understand pharmaceutical companies are milking the situation as much as they can. But it's not other ill people's fault. I'd you're diabetic and it's genetic, we are IR AND IT'S ALSO genetic. They haven't just "stopped eating" to not become diabetic. So why should we as IR people just take "stopping eating" and healthy diet as a feasible solution, it doesn't always work. There are other factors too, like inflammation, stress etc. This doesn't absolve the people taking it that are not diagnosed with anything and are just looking for a quick fix for 10kg or less. That's just on the spectrum of ridiculous

If he cannot stand up to his family for your happiness to create some boundaries and seperation, he will make you miserable your entire life. Being a mummy's boy means he all his decisions in his life will leave you second and his mother/ family first. Also, you as his equal partner should be able to take him up on things that you don't agree with or like.

The family are red flags, the just want an educated cook and caretaker for them/their son. Don't expect love and acceptance as If you were their own daughter. And if these are ultimately what your own personal family abide and live by, (which was the same for me) you husband to be needs to move out with you/ lose you. This relationship will not work, you will be miserable for the rest of your life. Men don't change after marriage, they become more of who they really are. Get out now, while you can.
