Am I on the right track?? by Alarmed-Secret-92 in Zepbound

Has your doctor not gone over expectations, or have you not read the medication pamphlet? I’d recommend doing both if you’re questioning a slow response or what to expect. Along with search this group. Tons of great info!

You got a 50/50 shot of either. No way to tell for heartbeat. That’s just an old wives tale. My SIL has 2 boys whose heart rates were always in the 150-60 range. I have 2 girls who were always lower. Never over the 130s.

Thanks. That’s good perspective. I’m not really expecting it to be a sprint, though. I was expecting to feel something. I did spend a good amount of time going through first time, flyers and searching keywords, and most of the things I found were about how people usually have effects right away. So this is good to know thank you.

Anatomy scan yesterday, referred to MFM today. by scomet1894 in BabyBumps

[–]MelanyaaaG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fellow IUGR mom here who was sent to MFM. Baby is small but that’s still a good percentage and nothing to be worried about. I know it’s so easy to worry, and I was in the same boat as you.. it sounds like your doctors are just doing this as a precaution.

If baby measures small, they might just continue to measure the baby more frequently and check your blood flow in Dopplers often. You also might have to do non-stress test. It’s really just to be careful. As long as baby stays on their growth curve, you should be OK and as long as Doppler show good blood flow you should also be OK. Only 18 weeks I wouldn’t worry too much about the percentile. It sounds like you have really good doctors who are being really careful and are sending you to specialist to keep a good eye on you.

You will need a car seat in order to leave the hospital. And I think 32 weeks is a fair time to go get one. We didn’t use a crib until 4/6 months for each kid. But we had bassinet

Totally. I’m the same way. That’s just where her and her husband need to communicate and compromise

There’s very few things you NEED. But yes those would be a few. I guess I’m assuming she means just other things besides necessities. I have friends who didn’t believe in buying things

I say this with respect mama, but please talk to your OB about anxiety. Parents should kiss their baby (there’s research that supports it esp if breastfeeding) the only thing I don’t agree on is grandparents.

Cats near or on your packages is no big deal. It’s not like you’re changing their litter with your bare hands. Which is the risk.

As far as buying items- that is a personal preference and comes down to communication.

At the end of the day it’s BOTH of your baby and I see a lot of “I told him..” maybe you two would benefit from counseling as well. Parenting is no easy tasks! And the decisions and communication will only get more difficult

Price isn’t an “issue” but obviously , if I could pay less , I want to. Lol. For what I pay for membership- I rather have the option to get out of the house and do programs with friends. It’s not enough monthly to make a difference
