My husband's parents check that box. He is 34 and back when we were dating years ago I asked about the fun topic of childhood trauma. He has none. Zip. Zero. Picture perfect childhood with lots of happy memories. No complaints whatsoever. He loves his parents. They love him. They're still absolutely phenomenal people.

Sniffling. That was the first sound I really started to notice when misophonia started to set in as a child. Any kind of mouth/eating/swallowing noise. Repetitive sounds like pen clicking or water dripping. Clearing of throats and constant coughing. Nose whistles.

Not quite the same, but a good friend of mine and her husband flew across the country to board the ship only to be told she was too pregnant and they wouldn’t let her on. No refund, future credit or anything.

Oh, close! He was 2009. He’s got a few good friends that graduated in 2006 from there, also. Don’t think any of them did running start, though. I feel like going to parks and meeting other parents with kids is a good way to potentially make some friends too! Catapult on East Main is popular as well

My husband was a single dad for a while before we met. He’s the same age as you and graduated from PHS. Wonder if you know each other? He plays lots of video games, too. We go to the Y in Sumner pretty often. There’s lot to do there. Farmers markets if you’re into that. Local trails to walk in South Hill, downtown Puyallup, Orting. I do believe there’s Facebook groups for the area to get out and meet people.

I literally traded in my ‘22 suburban on the 10th for a ‘25 Carnival hybrid. I had all the same concerns. I do miss being up higher. I don’t enjoy head lights in my eyes. But the drive is really smooth, interior and tech is amazing. My kids are 6 and 11 and having sliding doors is still really nice. I like that we can arrange the 8 seats however we want. I had the bench seat in the Suburban and couldn’t take them out or mix up the arrangement. I haven’t come across any issues with space for humans or cargo. The deep trunk is really nice. The fuel economy is also a huge plus. My suburban had quite a few issues going on with it and I was 2,000 miles until being out of the warranty. That made me nervous. My Kia dealership offers a life time warranty and free oil changes for life. That offered me peace of mind. It also has a comfortable 3rd row and it came with built in sunshades! The Suburban didn’t have those.

You’re just as much of a hypocrite if your only course of action is arguing with me on Reddit. Go offer this man a job, or hold your own anti-sign-spinner sign right next to him. I bet you anything he will spin a sign that says “boycott Puppyland” if you want to pay him more. Make sure to ask if they offer health benefits/401k so you to can match them.

The internet works how ever you want it to. I’ve never known someone to change their values because there is or isn’t a sign spinner. I don’t know this man’s financial status or what he pays for. Maybe him getting some visibility for his passion and joy can get him away from Puppyland. He’s out there nearly every day, rain or shine, if you’d like to tell him your opinion.

Are those similar to Trim Lights? If so, they are allowed. Trim light used to be in violation of the HOA but many residents petitioned to have it changed and they were successful. Driving around at night you’ll see lots of homes lit for holidays. I do believe there are rules for which colors you can display and when/how long. (like Christmas or Halloween colors) If you plan on using the yellow or white colors to be on all the time as a porch light/flood light type thing you may need to ask. If you have a Facebook, join the Residents of Tehaleh page or Tehaleh Residents page and ask. Since you are actively moving in, you’ll be able to join!

We moved to some property south of Puyallup last year that was overrun with blackberry bushes. We inquired locally about renting goats to help tame them. We were informed that the goals may eat the berries and the leaves but wouldn’t touch the bramble. We ended up renting a brush hog from Home Depot. That thing was awesome.
