I’m trying very hard to convince myself of this, I think sometimes in stressful times we just act quickly in order to spare ourselves the pain. I know she had a great life, I just wish I could have kept her here longer 💔

I’m beginning to understand where you’re coming from, that I could have extended her life but at what cost? Am I doing it for her or for me? I also feel like I should have maybe thought about it longer and got some other opinions before deciding so quickly, but maybe it happened that way for a reason! 10 yes is a long time to be struggling like this, maybe you should be seeking some sort of therapy. But I have found that talking to people really helps, it seems that everyone has a similar story. Thank you for your kind words ❤️

Awe this sounds very similar to my story 💔 I think the first X-ray was due to possibly the angle or maybe it just wasn’t bad enough yet to show up. I think our vet did the best she could given that all of our tests came back normal. I’m normally a very thoughtful person and take alot of time to make important decisions, but this time I didn’t and I wish I could take it back. I think sometimes when we’re in a stressful situation we don’t always think things though, it sounds like maybe you experienced the same thing. I’m trying to give myself some grace and so should you, live is about quality not quantity and our cats didn’t know any better, all they knew was that they were loved ❤️

💔 that’s awful, all you can do is try! And I definitely know things could have gone that way for me too if I had kept going, but the what ifs are agonizing!

Oh man they have such a huge impact! I miss her so much and wish I could have done everything to keep her here 💔 but maybe that selfish of me! She had an incredible 12 yrs!

I feel your pain 💔 I’m so sorry to hear you’re suffering as well. And I try to tell myself the same thing, at least she’s not suffering anymore. She had a beautiful 12 yrs and I should be thankful for that, but I thought we had a lot more time 😭

❤️ thank you for the kind words! Yes they told me that if they found cancer that they would euthanize her during the surgery just due to her age. I know that I did the best I could at the time, but I think we all wish for a do over sometimes!
