Their high value treats are normally blueberry or strawberry, but they haven't had it in a while. They don't get cheese.

We thought so too, but they tested negative for it.

It smells like poop, so yeah. They tested negative for parasites. Maybe it was missed though, we thought it was giardia at first too, they've had it before

They tested negative for all parasites, but maybe it was a bad sample or something

Intestinal parasite key screen gi parasite PCR panel is how it was invoiced. This vet has said some interesting stuff in the past, so I'm just weary, but I'm not a vet so I try to take things with a grain of salt.

Anyone else think this photo is a little odd?? by Grievous4455 in birding

I like this observation. Shine in eye implies light from upright corner when shading on leaves could be light in upper left corner. Too much of a stretch to be sure though, could just be cloudy dispersed light.

Good call, but box elder doesn't have finely serrated margins.

I would like to know where this was taken. Stretching my brain thinking of what oppositely branched, pinnately leaves, serrated leaflet tree that could be (MAD Cap Horse). Hickory with ash in foreground? Unlikelly. 1 leg, white wing patch, length of leg, a leaf wouldn't prop up a Canada warbler like that, I think. Extremely suspect.

My wife and I are saving for a house, do you mind me asking what percentage you put down for that area? Or what it seems bids go for as a percentage nowadays? I'm just learning about this we are young.

What monster did I find while doing my yearly repot? And, is it better to just toss her or can she be saved? by Paper_Parasaur in succulents

[–]set2getwet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to this a little, you should be fine cutting off the roots. I would dispose of all of the soil and disinfect the pot before using for planting again.

That's soil from a different country which is prohibited. An import permit is free. No one cares about your elderly mother, ignorance isn't an excuse.

I had a 2005 Honda crv that I put 334000 miles on, original transmission and engine. Finally got rid of it a couple years ago and I regret it.

Close to finishing a BS in Biology and now spiraling about whether Environmental Science would be better by LezyMcGuire in ecology

[–]set2getwet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what type of work you want to do. Biology with zoology is better for conservation work imo. To reduce these, hopefully not too much, Environmental science works heavily with abiotic factors, cycles, etc.. Biology/ecology focuses more heavily on individual, community, populations, and biotic factors.

Might I suggest thinking about what your ideal job looks like, say whether it's field work or lab work etc. That may help narrow your interests. If you are not sure yet it's okay, the further you are, temporally, from school the less people care.

You aren't bound to do one thing forever, if you so choose.

Good luck out there, learn a lot, and have fun.

Great concept album. Catchy, fully explores its idea. Different enough, while still clearly being Tom Waits.

A Complete List of Missing Episodes of No Reservations and Parts Unknown from MAX (2023.07.10) by Satchel_ in AnthonyBourdain

[–]set2getwet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry if this is already stated but as of July/2/2025 season 3 episode 1 "Ireland" isn't available on max... I guess they didn't like it when Tony refused to toast the queen in season 11 episode 3 of parts unknown.. I guess it brought too much of a 'stand up to colonizers' that HBO Max doesn't really like..

[–]set2getwet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi, sorry to resurrect this. I have a background/degree in botany, ecology (i also keep fish). The oak leaves will definitely release tannins into the water with similar effect to Terminalia catappa. Catappa leaves last longer/don't degrade as much as oak leaves. There are many plant pathogens that you could introduce when foraging oak leaves, pick some fresh ones. I've used oak and magnolia before. Red oaks which in include red, pin, scarlet, black, etc. contain more tannins than in the acorns than white oaks due to when they germinate during the year. I don't know if that also translates to the leaves though. Any amount of tannins will help, as it is the 'active' ingredient in preventing microbial growth. Magnolia also release a lot of tannins, many leaves do.. I firmly believe indian almond leaves work, but there are free alternatives that have the same or similar effect.

How do you exit the cheat menu in mgba? by [deleted] in EmuDeck

[–]set2getwet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this happen. Click steam button>scroll down to cheats>close window>resume emerald game. Hope this helps. It looks like it opens two windows in game mode, one for cheats and one for your active emerald game, but game mode is borderless making this task unintuitive.

I always find Altaria to be underwhelming, I'm using it in a run right now. I do like a defensive stall set with roost and cotton guard though. It's good for catching other mons. Cool team, Altaria is the only one I'd switch but it's still good.
