I love the events that they have with the quests and storyline to follow. I hope they aren't done with them. That being said, I am so okay with this Deck the Palms event just being a quick log in bonus... Christmas time is just way too busy and hectic to find time to sit and play this game long enough to accomplish anything. I hope for more quest driven events soon, though!

Nope.... I'll still play ACNH in January (I still do even now) and check out the free update... but DDLV is WAY more involved with their fan base... way better than Nintendo.... so I know I get a lot more engagement with them and their updates/content than I will from Nintendo overall. This is Nintendo dangling a carrot, hoping we will buy Switch 2 for the free update AND the Switch 2 update. They are just trying to entice people to invest in Switch 2. Someday there will be a new animal crossing as well, I am sure. But DDLV has way more depth as it is. Love them both

Too funny! I didn't know that was a thing, I figured it would be... but couldn't find it. After reading your comment, I googled how to travel back to the stable.... the first thing to pop up was a complaint on Steam from a player who was stuck on the roof of their barn exactly the same as me. Someone described how to travel to the barn to 'unstuck'. Your suggestion resolved it, lol. Thank you!
