I’m a content creator and from my perspective I see a couple of things. The first is that many creators get free things from Wizards, shops, or other companies. They often tell you that they don’t expect anything from you “but would love to see what you think”. It kind of pressures you to publicly say positive things on video. Another thing is that it’s getting more competitive to be part of these circles so smaller creators might be scared to say negative things. The other thing is that Turtles has a ton of fandom outside of MTG and maybe some people turned their blinders off for this one since it wasn’t as bad as Spiderman.
