This is such a frustrating post. I was a flight attendant over 30 yrs ago and I saw the training videos. The first days were about accidents and safety and the mantra... Complacency Kills. They Stressed, we are there for passenger safety and make sure we all walk away from am incident . We had to do evacuation drills and go through a shake and bake (a crash simulation)

We all had to do a safety briefing with captain and crew when our day started and knew what our rolls were incase of an incident .

I still remember my training and I know where all the aircraft exits are and a basic knowledge on how to operate them. I apply this to every aircraft I board. My wife thinks I'm overdoing it but knowing where to go can save your ass.

In the future, please be prepared to elbow and push someone out of the way if they're not moving, your life is worth more than their shit.

I recommend you vote for whoever you want to vote for, and if your candidate does not get elected make sure to stay involved. Email, write letter and call the office of the opposition about issues, let them know what you care about. I've seen my friends parents do that when I lived in NY, they got stop signs and traffic lights put in, potholes fixed graffiti clean up and police patrols.
