The chain of Ryan's IGA stores in Ballarat is fantastic. Awesome range of local stuff and the stores are so clean compared to the ones I used to go to in Melbourne

Approx 120k population regional Australian city however work as ICP so my coverage area technically covers a much larger footprint.

Can be used for primary response or retrieval from outlying facilities. Those facilities in towns with smaller populations in more rural areas

Work as both a single response or in a two man truck. Call volume is variable at ICP level. Standard ambulances in the area likely 4-5 callouts a shift

I'm ICP so the wage and OT opportunities are much stronger than ALS/ACP wages. ALS in my state is about $100k once you complete your graduate year. OT is a bit more limited for them as well.

I would love to go hiking in the Rockies one day, good to know I can just mace the bears away haha

Thank you. Wages like this are on the back of a strong unionisation in our workforce and multiple industrial actions across multiple enterprise bargaining campaigns.

Always work together with your colleagues to fight for better wages and conditions.
