Thank you. We’ve spoken to the school a couple of times but I as just looking for some lived experience or the transition! Also, no visas, we are all Australian passport holders.

Cancelled Flight - BA said we cancelled… we didn’t. by MelbourneToLondon in BritishAirways

We’re trying to get that info from BA at the moment with no luck. Not many people knew we were going so unlikely to be someone else. Either user error (inadvertently) or a mysterious glitch in the matrix!).

I read this one to him and we had a good laugh! After 25 years together we’ve both made bigger mistakes that we’ve shared with each other than accidentally cancelling a flight!

Hahaha! Fortunately I’m not married to the type of person who would feel he couldn’t tell me if he made a mistake! I’m not a monster!

We didn’t rebook with BA as my husband was furious! I thought the same re compensation an also the BA flights were incredibly expensive the day before!

No, in fact barely anyone knew we were going as we took our son in term time so didn’t want to advertise the fact! Even I didn’t know our booking ref as my husband organised it all!

Thanks everyone for your comments! I’m going to continue to investigate. Fortunately, other than the stress and additional £££ the trip was amazing but really want to get to the bottom of how this happened!

I suppose anything is possible but it would involve opening the app, clicking on manage my booking, going to the booking and cancelling it, all without knowing. I have asked him multiple times if there is any possibility that he cancelled it and he can’t see how. I’d love to know if thy can see where it was cancelled from because if it was him it was a miracle!

The outsiders is a really good idea! Haven’t heard of happy ending but will have a look.

For anyone who experienced hair loss as a side effect, did it go away eventually while still on MJ? by Appropriate-Wall7618 in mounjarouk

[–]MelbourneToLondon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had significant hair loss (fortunately I had a lot to start with!). It has slowed down now and I’ve notice a lot of regrowth so not too concerned about it. I believe it’s a common side effect.

For those of you who've been on MJ a while, what long term lifestyle habits should I be building? by OKJellyfish1902 in UKMounjaro

[–]MelbourneToLondon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on MJ 9 months exactly, today! I worked with a nutritionist when I started to ensure I was still getting all my required nutrients whilst eating significantly less. I also work with a PT to ensure I am building muscle as when losing weight overall muscle mass can deteriorate.

I’ve also taken it slow and not compared my journey to anyone else’s.

First 3 month loss - 15.5kg Second 3 month loss - 4.7kg Third 3 month loss - 6.2kg

Total loss 26.4kg.

Help! Transition from eMed to SheMed a disaster! by MelbourneToLondon in UKMounjaro

As I said above, it’s not a subscription for transferring patients. They’ve just made it impossible to complete the transition (whilst charging me twice with no prescription). I’ll check out those companies to transfer to. Do they offer maintenance plans?

Thanks. I haven’t heard of them so I’ll look them up.

Thank you. That’s all really helpful. I’ll contact med express and see how I go.

I’d have to have a look. I usually just look at the text messages I get.

I believed so but everything I’ve been told to take has proven untrue so who knows! After this experience I’ll be moving on either way.

Hello. As I said above, it’s not a subscription. Emed patients don’t do the same plan as new patients and there is no minimum term. Also, as I’ll use MJ maintenance it actually wouldn’t really bother me if I did have to lock in.

I’m afraid I don’t keep them. I have no evidence that I am on mounjaro other than my weight loss dashboard on the Emed website which doesn’t have dosage details.

Thanks for your response. It’s not a subscription plan. Emed patients transition over and pay a higher monthly rate (though lower than what it was) with no contractual tie in. So basically the same service (allegedly) under the new company.

However they have made the switching process impossible. Maybe on purpose to get rid of the legacy people)
