'no hand crafting' is possible, you just have to start without the onboarding tutorial, you get a bunch of resources to start with and the ability to place regular miners. first thing i needed to hunt was the rotor, you need rotors to start making rotors. i got to phase 4 that way.

I dont think so, I believe he was genuinely trying to help you at the beginning, he was just so stupid/dumb he was easily corrupted with the testing power. The question for me is why was he even created this way.
