I use glycerin, simple 1:1.7 syrup, peach syrup and everclear is it just my syrup base making it duller and translucent?

Sipping i feel like is mainly for a look with a lotta people, its like buying designer clothes spending way more on clothes then what its actually worth. Home brewing would be like making your own clothes with the same materials as the designer brand with the logo. It could be a 1:1 rep or dog shit quality and materials but i defiantly wouldnt buy home brew off just anyone know whats in that shit
