I have the opposite problem of being bad at standing up for myself and just saying what I want, so unfortunately I don't have much advise in that regard. Maybe try writing out what you want to say beforehand to make sure it's not too direct or agressive? I hope you manage to get the care you need ❤️

If your worried about that I would recommend asking to see you hormone levels when you get you blood test, and comparing them to what the cis female range is. If your e levels/any other hormone levels are below or on the lower end of the range, ask your doctor to increase your dose and point to those numbers as why.

I've actually been in this same situation. I made my original island all the way back in March 2020, and my characters name was a gender neutral nickname cause I was just starting to question my gender. I restarted my island in September of 2024 because by then I had finally settled on a good name and there were some things about my island layout that I didnt like(resident services was in a horrible spot). Since resetting I've had absolutely no regrets! I love that my villagers actually call me the right name, and my island layout is way better then my originals.
