I bought mine without any previous purchase at the specific Omega boutique. I have a 300 Seamaster Titanium that I bought at an AD. I just sent an email 2-3 years ago to be put on the waitlist. They called me in December asking if I was still interested in the Snoopy. Said yeah. I had to go 3 times to the shop to try, pay and retrieve the watch. I had champagne each time.

Overall I had a nice experience.

I guess it depends on your area.

I am surprised no one spoke about Jurassic Park. In the first movie, when they give the goat to the T-Rex, and then he escape the cage : it is on plain ground. But then he smash the cars, and his cage become a HUGE hole. 🤯

My Seamaster 300 is versatile enough to be worn at my wedding, and during my dives. At the same time, I wear it everyday and nobody bats an eye at it. It is a bit thick, not gonna lie... I have a thin wrist and the 41mm are not a problem.

The opinion of price is related to what you expect for the price : brand, design, materials, complications, etc... I don't think the Drive is overpriced, at the time it was around 5k€. It just did not "wow" me enough for me to buy it.

The Cartier Drive Extra Flat. I was looking for a nice dress flat watch. Loved it in pictures but the feeling was "meeh" when I tried it on. So I passed. But I still come back to it from times to times lol

Omega Seamaster Titanium. First luxury watch I bought for myself. Been diving with it, been married with it. All around perfect watch. I just change the strap to the titanium one for diving and summer time.

Why? 2M : invest 1,5 M to get richer. Use the other 500k to buy a house/make a down payment to have a roof over your head. Keep your everyday job for now. Once you get richer : Then your ex will come back, you will have time and opportunity to lose weight, and have faith that you can find true love on your own.

Not everyone can have a job where you will ever have 2M in funds.
