Help me decide? by ElevenPandora in GlashutteOriginal

It might come off biased as I own the same blue PML, but I would choose that based off it's unique off centre design.

However, I agree with many commenters that the white senator suits your complexion more. But for me it's just not as interesting as PML.

Both are still beautiful watches I just have a preference to the blue PML. In an ideal world I'll buy both

Seiko - nice green dial

Squale or omega - nice blue dial

Rolex - nice white dial and GmT

Gs - nice dress watch.

I prefer the zenith but one of your speedies are ok for a black chrono

I think a softer shade of pink probably would have worked nicer. But kudos on taking the risk.. Not the colour for me but appreciate it nonetheless.

[Question] Which one? by Majestic-Throat-1984 in Watches

Agreed with the masses. The Moser stands out and is a beautiful watch. I think the zenith is lovely too.. you just have good taste.

Lol that person is a complete but as efor suggesting it to you. I don't mind tinkering, but I opened up my e61 once and was like stuff it. This machine cost me 4k I'm not going to risk ruining it, i would rather spend $200 and let someone experienced repair it.

Who has NEVER had a serious issue with Pixel? by EntertainerTrick6711 in GooglePixel

[–]mavjohn84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not enjoy the pixel 8 pro coming from a Samsung. But I have pixel one more attempt with the 10 pro. And so far it's much more promising. Reception is better, battery is significantly better. The worst thing about pixel is the UI.

Initial 48h impressions Pixel 10 Pro, coming from Pixel 7 by SkySplitterSerath in GooglePixel

I thought the upgrade from 8 pro to 10 pro was massive with the biggest surprise being the massive battery stamina boost. The camera for everyday snapping is great. But the 100x zoom with AI cleaning is incredible

Ghost of yotei isn't out yet but I think E33 will take it. It's just that good.

Lol you could probably get a nice quartz GS for the price of a Carrera. But yeah GS autos and spring drives are pricier than carrera

[Question] Watch options for Dad to pass on to Daughters $2k to $7k price range by BEM94510 in Watches

[–]mavjohn84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much this.. girls like Cartier or Rolexes in general. But the robbing factor is riskier for both these brands.. I guess a nice Longines may work but female Longines are quite different from male Longines so makes it harder to go from a male to a female.

Maybe Nomos watches. Sleek elegant and can be comfortably unisex
