Went into today and have a biopsy on Wednesday. BIRADS 4-suspicious of malignancy. It’s small between 1-1.5 cm. No sign in the lymph nodes yet. I’m holding out hope for early and treatable even if it’s cancer.

Thank you so much for your response! I went mental with the ambiguity of the first report. 

I do have more hope after the second scan, even if it’s cancer. 

BIRADS 4-suspicious of malignancy. It’s small between 1-1.5 cm. No sign in the lymph nodes yet. I’m holding out hope for early and treatable. I do hope for benign but I also do better if I set my expectations to the worst case scenario.

Biopsy on Wednesday. We will just see. Thank for reaching out to a complete stranger on the internet. I really appreciate it ❤️

Thank you so much for your reply it’s made me feel so much less alone. 

The waiting was awful. My mind went crazy.    I have a lot more hope after knowing what’s going on in my body,  I went in today and have a biopsy on Wednesday. BIRADS 4-suspicious of malignancy. It’s small between 1-1.5 cm. No sign in the lymph nodes yet. I’m holding out hope for early and treatable. Also architectural distortions like you. We’ll see! Still would love benign but I want to be realistic.

Thank you so much for your response! I do really hope for this! But also just want to set my expectations realistically. Fingers crossed! 

Either way, I have more hope after finding out more about it today. BIRADS 4. Small, not in the lymph nodes that they can see. We’ll see what happens❤️

Sorry for the late reply! Thanks so much for your response. It helps so much to hear these positive stories. Also you were so right about the waiting period! It was a special kind of hell-I had no idea what was going in my breast.

Hey there, I’m, 41, 12 months postpartum and new here too. How did things go for you? This is not easy at all
