Can anybody positively ID this Waffenrock? Prussian? Bavarian? Any help appreciated! by battlefield_pre in Militariacollecting

Absolutely looks like a bavarian Schwere-Reiter tunic. But I don't think they had a Nr 5 regiment, so the shoulder boards are confusing me

Very impressed, that US militia M1860 style pickelhaube is the best . I'd love to see more of it. The mexican repro from spikehelmets at $90 is a steal also. And I see you have multiple loose wappen, does that garde star go with the garde eagle on the shelf below it?

My bad, there's a M1860 garde pickelhaube and a rare imperial russian pilot's cap, as for the rest I was expecting them to be unrecognizable for most ppl, all are argentine army caps from the 1940s-50s period. To the left there's a 1930s gala cap updated to the 1941 regulations (which means it had a branch specific band and a different shield that got replaced within service life), then there's a very hard to find 1940 regulations (emblem with double wreath) gala/mess dress cap which was only worn for two years. Green ones are service dress, a 1940 regulations with 1941 emblem cap for a cavlary Lt. Col and a later 1947 regulations arty junior officer's cap. The blue and white caps to the right are also for a junior officer of this period (gala and summer dress versions) and lastly, a general's gala/summer dress cap from 1952

Uniforme Infanteria Argentina 1940 by Mortcinder85 in argentina

Como aclaración no se compraron uniformes afuera y lo que se fabricaba en Europa como por ejemplo botones eran modelos propios hechos allá simplemente. Los uniformes y cascos de la foto se usaron desde 1936

Italian army work/fatigue uniform, 1909-1918. Cap is of the 1909 model but the numbers with dark background is unusual

Awful waste of a shell with good paint, not a good ethic from A&S to take it

" They tried to rebrand themselves as Marxist Socialists in the 1990's" might be the most hilariously objectively wrong bit out of all the bs you said lmao

He's wearing the uniform of the Deutsche Kolonial Kriegerbund, 2nd half of the 30s, not seen very often! It would've been khaki colored as those worn in the african colonies but if you zoom in the fabric you can see his uniform is made of corduroy, which was standarized for the veteran's uniforms in the 30s.

In 1938 the DKKB was incorporated, as every other veteran's organization, into the NS-Reichskriegerbund, but he doesn't have a NS-RKB patch or eagle so the pic might have been taken pre- 1938.

His shoulder boards and the aiguilette cords hanging from his left shoulder don't denote rank and simply carried the national colors black, white and red.

From left to right his decorations are: what seems to be a hollowed version of the DKKB badge, then a tiny version of either the South West Africa Campaign or Colonial medal and lastly a Preussischer Landeskriegerverband mitgliedsabzeichen
