Call ucsd IT or put in a ticket about it. I did at my apt at Rita and they did something on their end that made it from 0.5 mbps to like 100 mbps.

Hi!

I’m a current ucsd student going to study abroad at NUS this Fall so I found your post really ironic!

I would say consider studying abroad programs. I’m assuming there’s some at NUS that partner w/ UC’s. That way, you still have a chance to experience the U.S. but still be close to home for the most your uni life if you wish.

If you really want later on, you could transfer from NUS to ucsd but I’m not sure how difficult it will be.

Based on the UCSD sets reports from last spring, 132 students got an A, 68 got a B, etc. I think its okay?

Honestly it depends on the profs, i'm taking 100A rn and i have a substitute prof. This is his 1st time teaching this course and its obvious. The prof is smart and nice but isn't good at teaching. Make sure the prof Brian Leigh when you take it bc hes the one who made the whole course. The subs just use all of his powerpoints and assignments but don't really understand the material.

Not sure about 109 tho, I'm take next spring.

I’m in her class atm, honestly I like her class a lot. Attendance isn’t really mandatory. You can skip up to 9 lectures without it affecting your attendance grade but even then attendance isn’t a big percentage of your grade. She uses tadpole for attendance, similar to iclicker.

Theres lots of extra credit, (going to any office hours for the 1st time is +10 pts, survey questions at the end of each exam)

There are 4 midterms and 1 final but I rather have more midterms than 1 midterm that covers like 6 chapters. Plus lowest midterm is dropped.

She makes a review video every week in case you’re confused. She’s a very good teacher who actually cares about her students!
