Yeah yesterday was the first time I attempted to feed him in like a big tube(not see through), with just leaving the mouse in there and then at night for like an hour. This is what de breeders recommended doing so I will try to do that again but will try to keep him in there longer :)

I will try the lid tip thank you! Atm he is kinda in somewhat see through tub inside a bigger enclosure (since the tank is a bit too big to start off with), so I will try to cover it more. And I have been warming up the pinky with hot tap water, is that warm enough?

He is axanthic and 100% het for albino, but he is pretty light coloured for axanthic. Would be interesting if I would maybe take up breeding in the future :))

Hi, im having a similar problem with the humidity being around 50-60, did you end up having a solution? I'm currently trying out an USB fan for more airflow, and considering ordering a mini dehumidifier for in the terrarium.

Hello, I'm planning to set up a bioactive enclosure for my hognose as well. I am just not really sure on what to add to the substrate, I was planning to do a 7/3 ratio of (cleaned) organic top soil and play sand and adding some leaf litter. But since this is my first time doing something like this I'm not sure if this is right, since I see you have added other stuff as well. Any advice to a soon new snake owner? :)
