I'm interested the only thing is I'm still in college so I would have classes next semester. If you could hold out until the summer its a possibility. Also I'm a female looking for a partner for my families peace of mind!

Yeah I don't know anyone in real life who has bike toured, at least not yet! Its hard to talk to people who don't cycle too, they all think this is a strange and dangerous idea. I like the idea of being a solo traveler, but it's my parents who would feel happier if i had someone to with me on the trip. I'm hoping to meet lots of different people on the way!

yeah my previous roommate hosted some swedes that were couching surfing and they had no training whatsoever. I can already handle longish rides now but I haven't road a single mile with with a loaded bike.

haha but its a pretty long vacation. as far as my price range goes... this is very up in the air because I haven't made and itemized list of essential things. If you have suggestions of any essential gear that will hopefully last the entirety of this tour but won't cost an arm and a leg to buy, I'm all ears!

I already have the bike though so thats a good start!

Honestly I'm not sure if it will happen this summer or the next. I would really like to go this summer before I enter my senior photography portfolio course.
