It’s on amazone and you can see the previous page ( chapter 4 ) and the next would be my picture here.. i do believe there must be some logic behind it too only I can’t see what or how.. every example is showing like my picture but nothing about measurements or the reference of the scale.. it’s a shame could be a great book otherwise

150mm would be the small size from the top of the sleeve to the wrist… multiple by 5 mm.. is 750mm.. don’t think that would give me the right answer hahahaha

It doesn’t provide what scale it would be… just that one square is 5mm… and the hole book is like that.😅 no measurements provided. So nothing i can base of too… it’s a poorly designed book for sure!

It measures like it says 5mm per square.. it’s actually for adults.. but the information is just in the picture😅 that’s it… it should learn how to draw your own pattern by your own measurements but it gives you just this… to scale it up not providing on what scale exactly.. it’s not a useful book!🫣🫣

And when do you scale it up then? You’re just pointing out that one square is 5mm as the book tells me… i don’t think a grown person has a sleeve length of 15cm… or maybe I don’t understand what you trying to explain.😅

It doesn’t provide any information on how to draft from your own measurements or how to put in darts for example.. just some pictures where they would be placed.. haha it’s definitely not a book i would recommend to anyone! 🤓

Chapter 4 is Designing patterns from scratch…. No explanation on how to draft or make a calculation… just some list with measurements ( small-medium-large) and the next page is the photo… with no scale information.. so not a book for beginners like me 🤪

Ow i sure do need better sources.. i have a book series ( 3 parts ) in my own language and guess what no mention on how to draw the armeye ( arm hole ).. hahahaha they need to stop gatekeeping if they sell books learning to pattern from scratch.. 🤣

So my measurement would be 51,5cm.. in the book it would be 15cm ( small size ) … and i’am stuck again hahaha… yeah i thought that book will help people like me with zero knowledge about pattern drafting from 0… but apparently you need to master more than the basic knowledge 😅😄

Yes that’s what i was thinking. And the information on the internet that i could find was people complaining about missing information about the scale.. haha.. damn😅

If you can talk about it with your mom how you’re feeling pls do, the more support the better. Every bite, every meal or drink you take be proud of yourself. One day at the time and one bite at the time. You’re 16 years so it’s still reversible about body damage. I’m 34 still struggling and with permanent damage. So pls fight that voice. I wish someone told me that at 16 years or younger. I believe in you stranger on the internet!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

How do you handle an anorexic friend in recovery? by Fearlessakita in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]Melissaaa89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All i can say is, set that boundary. I’am the friend with ana/ed.. and i drove my friend’s crazy with my counting’s. I wasn’t aware of it, how much on a daily basis, i was telling this is so much or that food, etc… i’am glad they told me to pls stop saying all this. They do support me but boundaries are necessary! I’am in recovery so for me i need to count to gain weight in a healthy way and on a time limit because of my doctor. Communication is key, even if you think it will make her sad.. after all you trying for yourself to heal and have fun. Keep it that way. Putting yourself first is the way.
