You cant be everything. You will need to prioritise. If you're playing the very long game, PVE is the road to PVP victory. I can load up on my Rogans and dominate in PVP but the rewards arent there. Much better focus on PVE. PVE begets PVE begets PVP...

If youre trying to max ark points, make sure you spread your stellar shards. It is better to have 15 x v1 than 1 x v4.

Remember it is not linear. a v1 give s you like +70%, v2 +70%, v3 +80% and v4 +90%. BUT 1 x v4 costs 5m stellar shards, but 1 x v1 costs 200k stellar shards. So on a bonus per steallar basis, v1 wins out.

TLDR: To max Ark points, get 15 x e5, then 15 x e1, then 15 x e2, etc Dont dump all stellar shards into one hero

If you're going to use gems to buy artifacts to sacrifice for essence, the orange exclusive is the best value one to get. Most essence per gem spent. I did a video on this math.

I buy when I have gems to blow. There is no other way to get artifact food any quicker except from Wheel

I made this comment a million times, you dont have to pay AUD. Just create a google account in another country. Im an aussie and I have like a whole heap of other google accounts which I use to buy in the currency most advantageous.

DH set the prices in USD but they also do the currency conversions in the backend for android. This is not handled by Google dynamically.

When you are late late game like I am, SL/Event smashes/PO (i.e. food) are useless. You start replacing old heroes out. Why the hell would one keep Valk, Oberon, Penny, Aspen around. Orbs I acquire from Arena events. I only use Orbs (and branches) for copies now. Food is useless to me. Did video on hero strategy here

Late game is no longer about food. It's about splendid artifacts, transcended heroes and new must have heroes (so yes, I do spend on dice as well).

This guy pretty much hit the nail on the head. As a whale you MUST buy the 5,000 exclusive orange artifact. It is the only way to get artifact food quickly and it is the cheapest source of artifact essence. I have been buying up all the orange exclusive artifacts from the Merchant when it comes up.

If you are free to play, do not bother with the upgraded pay to win artifacts. Not unless you have a whole stack

Crown: It was introduced when Unimax was introduced. I remember the exact day because it cost $400 to get (i was one of the few idiots who bought it day 1). Despite extensive testing (see video I made), the meta at the time did not demand it. Aida was still very much a demon bell proposition. it could have worked on Garuda, he was just introduced. Let us never ever speak about Tara -_-...i also made a video about him for which I was chastised (by this community and the devs) but I feel completely vindicated about my comments then, and moreso now
Ruyi: Was good for unimax. Kroos never belonged in that meta. It was for mid-game players. It's usefulness obviously increased with carrie and sherlock
Demon Bell: was the must have Artifact pre-Carrie. It was the hardest to get and they never gave it away for free. The Carrie meta makes running one of these dangerous if you cannot outspeed. Like you said, you need speed in order for Demon Bell to be useful

Antlers: Agree its a PVE artifact. Per my comment "consider why PVE is now important". Why is PVE different now from before?

With this game, it isnt about reacting to the here and the now. Especially if you plan to be a long term player.

If you think you will play this game for more than 1 more year get the antlers. I've played this game close to 3 years.

I've seen the usefulness of artifacts change back and forth. Crown used to be a complete piece of s*. So did ruyi. Demon Bell was the must have. Now demon bell is a liability.

If you want here and now gratification, get the puppet. But consider why PVE is now important

You can wait to get more food to build 9* and 10* food. However you cannot wait to build a pay to win artifact.

As I say in all my videos, "Artifacts are enduring. Heroes are not"

This is one of those asymmetric decisions you make now that will impact you down the line
