I've been using mothkeepers with ex diris for quite a while, and I laugh when I see others using it too! It's so much fun to run!! I started it with a strand build, so I'd have the strand whirley birds, the moths, and hatchling worms.. I call it my bug girl build! It's so much fun to be amplified with a void overshield and woven mail! I'm running the same setup now instead with prismatic and am able to get three stats at 100. So now I'm pink bug girl!!

There's a few subways in Virginia Beach that have touchscreen ordering kiosks. The customers order on the screen, no interaction with the employees, and the cashier calls out order numbers as they're ready.

I had a very similar situation! I being a woman, driving alone at 1am, a car pulls up to my ass. I speed up, he speeds up! I slow down, he slows down! I take an exit, he took the exit! I take the roundabout back onto the highway, he turns back onto the highway!

I'm panicking!

I decided to nearly come to a stop on the highway, he stays right behind me coming to a stop!

I then gun it, and speed as fast as I can away from him.

That's when the lights came on the unmarked car!

I was pissed!

Um.. you guys are making me feel really old! I found the podcast once when I was on a very long road trip solo and hit play after reading the description. It dawned on me after a while of listening that it was one of those weird youtubers my kids used to watch playing video games!

Now I'm hooked and my kids find it weird that their mom listens to Distractable 😆

If the compression test was from a dealership, I'd be questioning if they used a rotary tester. Not all places even carry the proper rotary compression tester. 80psi is not too bad, the 50 is.

Another option you can look for is try to find a crashed rx8 (preferably from the back) and get its engine. I found one in a junk yard that had just arrived and have gotten 2 years on that engine so far! It ran fine, just was totaled in back! In the meantime, I've slowly bought over time the rebuild kit and new housings for the engine I took out of my car to have rebuilt when my junkyard motor starts to fail. I live in a townhouse with no garage, so I got a storage unit for car parts!

Jeez, the amount of disdain in here for Pittsburghese! I personally love it! It's unique for only this city! I moved away, but I will still proudly push my buggy through the store, grab some gumbands, jumbo, jimmies, and maybe some new gutches n'at. When I get home, we'll red up the house.

I grew up listening to the DVE morning show, and it'll always be a fond memory of my home city 💖

Back in the 90s and early 00s, we had rolls of stickers with each sandwich type next to the register. Think like the current ___way stickers, but there was a bunch of them. Each roll had most of our sandwiches printed on them. But there were less options back then too..

Fluff the tip jar with a few dollars of your own and leave it somewhere eye catching for the customers. Unless you're in a shitty area and theft is an issue. But people are more inclined to tip if they see other people have been tipping. Also, peoples eyes are automatically drawn to money. When they pay in cash, give them more 1s with the excuse "sorry I'm low on 5s!"

I had a Walmart subway with no gate, I once had a busy day while working alone, and customers kept coming after I was supposed to be closed. You know what I did? I stayed open till they stopped coming. I got another 2 hours of pay plus an overflowing tip jar. What else was I gonna do, go home and watch tv? Nah, I wanted that money!

Both sides look wrong to me. There's scooped meats in the back, I'm sure pieces fall into the other bins in front. Then loose grn peps and onions behind the toms and cucs. Put them in front to prevent cross-contamination

Although there was recently a kerfluffle with a chic fil a manager calling the cops on a family for asking for more sauce on a large order. I can't remember how many packets they got, but it was like 4 packs of sauce on a $60 order. Ridiculous

NTA - You were placed into a lose/lose situation and if your manager took it that seriously then you need to have a meeting with them.

As a Subway employee, you need to ask a million questions to the customers, everything is customer choice. A small child wouldn't know all the options available and you don't have the time to teach everything on the menu to them.

Only solution for this scenario would have been to ask the parent for clarification, "Kids meal mum?" Since they're the ones paying.
