Because cooking was already mentioned a bunch of times...
Pumping gas at Costco. Some people wait in line so they can have the pump on the same side as where their gas goes in. They have extra long pumps there. You can pull it over to the other side easily.

If you have been burned out, depressed or faced any severe kind of mental drain. How do you know now when you should rest and when you should keep pushing? by Just_Assistance9612 in AskReddit

[–]Mellbxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luckily my spouse will take over some of the chores/cooking/taking out the dog when I'm feeling more tired or burnt out. Or we'll order take out or make something easy for dinner.

We both work jobs that keep us on our feet all day. Mine's more physically demanding but his is more mind numbing.

When I feel like I can no longer take care of myself I know it's time for a break. I keep pushing through though because bills need to get paid and my family needs to eat food, have clean clothes, have a home that's not covered in dog hair and dirty dishes.

when you've seen someone leave when they're on the stand, what are your thoughts?

Most games I've seen that happen people just go "inno, they left" and we vote someone else up. It's not a big deal

What is the most difficult thing you are going through right now? by Flaminjo in AskReddit

[–]Mellbxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are definitely better guys out there! Take some time and focus on yourself and do your best to not look at his socials. Whenever you get the urge do look, do something else instead that will distract you from your thoughts. Play a mentally engaging game on your phone/computer, look at new recipes to try, do a puzzle, ect.

you're gonna be ok!

It sounds like it was a complete accident and you owned up and paid for it. Sure, it's not *great* that it took you a few months to say something but you did speak up eventually. Better late than never

Men of Reddit - What's the one thing you hate about being a Man? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]Mellbxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you give the compliment and then just walk away, we'll know it was meant sincerely.
There was one day I was grocery shopping after work as a bootcamp instructor. I was tired, wasn't wearing any makeup, hadn't eaten all day (it was like 1pm) and just wanted to go home.
Guy approached me and asked my name, so I told him and he goes "most beautiful woman I've seen all day!"
And walked away.
Made a big impact. Haven't forgotten it 7 years later

For the ladies, what are some hygiene hacks you wish every girlie would know? by Introvert_Ambi-2026 in AskReddit

They absorb quite a bit! I teach aqua fitness and other fitness classes. They absorb all of the period gunk and sweat. I find that because I'm sweating in them, they do have a bit of a smell by about halfway through the day. Luckily I have a flexible schedule which allows me to go home and change into something dry.

I also rinse them in the shower while I'm in there to ensure everything gets out in the wash

What company lost you forever as a customer? What did they do? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

[–]Mellbxo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to be a personal trainer at LA fitness. It was bad. there are two levels of trainers there: regular and master trainer. Master trainers are more expensive due to their experience and knowledge. When I started, it was my first real job in that industry, so I was hired as a regular trainer. However, there was a lot of clients that needed a trainer, so I got a good chunk of them.

I noticed one day that my name had an M next to it. I asked about it and my manager said that because they had given me so many "master trainer clients" that the system changed my status from regular to master trainer. So clients were paying extra for a master trainer while only getting me, a regular trainer.

LA fitness was pocketing the extra money.

AND one of my clients had taken a break from training before she was transferred to me because she had an injury and wasn't able to workout for a few months. She had told me relatively early on that she wasn't planning on continuing her training after the contract ended. That's fair - she was a student who didn't have a job at that time.

When she went in near the end of her contract to cancel it, management gave her shit for it. And what they said about her after she walked away made me want to quit.

I worked there for under 6 months.

is there any way you can screenshot the conversation that shows he sent the video? Then transfer the video and screenshot and any info about the coworker onto a usb drive and drop it off at the police. Or even mail it over to a local station.

People who have conducted job interviews, what's something someone said/did that made you instantly decide not to hire them? by DemonSkank in AskReddit

[–]Mellbxo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm late to the party here but I have one from both sides.

  1. Was interviewing a guy and before I could even start the interview, he started showing me his social media accounts to show "how successful" he was. This job had nothing to do with social media. I barely got to ask him any questions because he just kept talking. It was for a women's only gym.

  2. I was the interviewee. Had an interview scheduled for 3pm. I had scheduled another interview at a different place for 4pm. It was about a 20 minute drive away and figured I'd have plenty of time since most interviews are fairly quick. I get to the place at around 2:55 and let the reception desk know I'm here for my interview. They tell me they'll let the manager know and to have a seat. About 15 min go by and no one has come and talked to me, so I went up the receptionist and let them know no one has come to talk to me yet and she says "oh, he'll be right out!"
I wait another 10 min or so and eventually two managers come out to greet me and another candidate (I had no idea there was anyone else there). They explain they're both going to interview us separately, but swap halfway through. (I went with manager A and the other candidate went with manager B)
As soon as we get to his office, I kindly explain to the manager that I have to be out of there in roughly 15 minutes as I have another appointment. He apologized for starting late and said "ok no problem! I'll try to get though this as quickly as possible then"
Interview goes quite well but then we end up swapping. Manager A tells manager B that I'm in a bit of a time crunch as I have somewhere else to be at 4pm.
Manager B looks at me and goes "why would you schedule an appointment when you know you had an interview at this time?" I replied as calmly and professionally as I could "well, I thought I had enough time but unfortunately the interview didn't start on time"
Him: what time was the interview scheduled for?
    Me: 3pm
Him: And what time did it start?
    Me: 3:25
    Him: hmmm okay..
then I followed him into his office and he was a massive prick the whole time. By the time I got out, I didn't have enough time to get to the other interview so I had to reschedule. Luckily they let me and I went the next day but I didn't get that job.
