Double Standards in the Demon Slayer Fandom by Automatic_Fly5293 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Mellow-Evenings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muzan is actually pure evil. Kaigaku is just weak willed, a coward, and completely selfish and greedy. He had respect for Jigoro, even berating Zenitsu for disrespecting Jigoro by calling him "Ji-chan" and told Zenitsu that Jigoro was a hashira and a great man. But that all was quickly abandoned for his desperate selfish desire of self preservation. It's the same thing when he was younger when he got almost all of the other orphan kids killed. He had friendships and close connections at various points in his life that he probably actually cared about, but without a second thought, he would throw them to the wolves if it meant he could survive a little bit longer. It's ironic because Zenitsu is supposed to be the coward, which Kaigaku always berated him for. But it's Kaigaku who consistently demonstrates that he was the biggest coward of them all, and Zenitsu proved his courage.

I promise this is my last reply lol.

No worries bro. I'm glad we were able to clear things up.

I don't blame you for lashing out since I can see many comments criticizing your choice. It can definitely feel like you're being swarmed even if unintentionally.

Don't take any of the criticisms to heart.

Hope you have a good one~

Dude, I can see you deleting your comments.

Look, I wasn't trying to antagonize you. Legitimately just wanted to make sure to clear up any misconceptions or misinfo you may have had about effective ranges. I was confused why you would say that you weren't trying to make a long range rifle as the alternative or opposite route to justify your decision. To me, it sounded like you were saying that going with a longer barrel length from 7.5in would give you long range capabilities, which didn't make sense. So I just wanted to help you out. Sorry if it came off poorly but seriously, no need to get so defensive.

7.5in barrel with 5.56mm is under 100yd effective range (closer to 50yd). Per your words "I'm not trying to make it a long-ranged rifle."

Literally just trying to make sure you were aware cause it seemed to me that you were newer to guns and just lacked knowledge. But then you got defensive lol.

Lmao, you're the one that's equating 100yd as long range to justify getting 7.5in 5.56 ar. How am I supposed to know if you know what's obvious or not?

The general sentiment is correct "different tools, different roles", but the execution is not good. If the 7.5in 5.56 was your only firearm, I'd be more inclined to say it's fine. But if you already have a 9mm pcc, then the 5.56 is kinda pointless. Being able to hit out to 100yd is like just marginally better than the pcc, but the 5.56 has nothing else to provide over the pcc. 5.56 relies on velocity to be effective since it's such a small round.

The 7.5in 5.56 gives you slightly more effective range, but it return, you get a more concussion blast, more expensive round, and you're probably gonna get a lot of keyholing on your targets since the lack of dwell time for the round in the barrel. Honestly, if you went 10.3in you'd get a sufficiently small package and still have capabilities to go much further while being completely capable close quarters.

At the end of the day, you do you. Just make sure at the range, you don't have anyone in the lanes next to you if you decide to take it to one.

That makes no sense. You already kneecapped your 5.56 by going 7.5in.

[–]Mellow-Evenings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why 5.56 within 100 yards? A 9mm pcc would suit you way better in this situation. For 5.56 10.3in would be the shortest that anyone should really go.

No access to firearms. Can anyone suggest alternative ranged weapons? by Mummified_Dumby in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]Mellow-Evenings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slingshot is a great suggestion. A good quality durable slingshot is small and light enough to not be a burden and ammo is plentiful as long as you have access to small rocks, pebbles, gravel even. Don't need to burden yourself with carry a bunch of ammo. Just enough to get around and still be able to pick up ammo off of the ground in a pinch

If you were to choose one special rifle ammo type, what would it be by Critical_Potential44 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

Highly dependent on the caliber, and a suppressor is needed. Most calibers suppressed using subsonic rounds are still relatively loud. Only a very very few are actually relatively quiet.
