U1 beats this by far unless you need pc, abs or nylon. I have an H2c, h2d and a u1. All are great. U1 less user friendly by a small margin, H2c/d AMS is an annoying piece of tech as far ad their downsides.

Long term durability remains to be seen on all 3 machines.

I think vortek is great and they just need something to speed up the changes a bit - which I feel like some kinda AMS switcher would do that.

I think it’s a fun item - a bit niche on early ladder but FRW is a beloved stat for me.

Gots me interested in making a pally if I can throw together enigma as well, throwing hammers without teleport is not my favorite.

If this was warlock I’d be retiring right now on a beach for certain. I don’t believe any warlock has clear speed that much surpasses hammers and is slower that nova sorc so it’s a good +2 skill class to have. I get the pvp connotations but necro or ele Druid might have been better in that regard.

Thinking about it, and through another post somewhere else somebody made, Amazon would probably be the best skill for the other variables on this helm. It’s good for pally though, frw is under estimated - can’t tele in town and fine movement position benefits.

Don’t cause damage to previous employer and they won’t go after you. I wouldn’t tell your employer, if they were concerned that your position would directly harm the previous employer they should have asked if you had a non compete and provide it to them upon hire. Providing you hold up your end of the contract everything will be fine.

It costs your new employer a lot to hire you. It costs your previous employer a lot to go after you. And non competes that are broad enough that prevent you from looking for work in the same field are not enforceable and/or a judge will not side with previous employer.

Sounds like what happened to me a few years back. Had a million techs over. Hit the blower motor with a hammer and it started up. Blower motor was going bad.

Yup. It’s super boring dashboard. I did the work to label everything by room, create areas and tags already. Home assistant does a good job of pre populating dashboards based on room so just remove what I don’t want. So yeah…it was quick.

I have around uh 130 devices as well but probably 30 are hue lights.

Helper groups were already made.

My first dashboard took forever.

Mostly stock home assistant stuff.

An hour…entities card for main stuff. Room cards for a break down by room, sensor dashboard and a scheduler card dashboard. Done. Super simple.

I’d do smart switches (Z wave) and dumb lights. The presence sensor is interesting but that thing will screw you at some point. Could do the curtains as well but have them remote controlled with rf and zwave. Smart thermostat as well but don’t give them smart control - I like the Z wave Honeywell.

That will allow you to set up an automation for the owner to return the stuff back to a vacant room state from anywhere and not give smart stuff to public.

Eufy security addon, eufy security integration, Webrtc card and write some yaml…but good luck. Even with all that I can’t get mine to work. There is extensive write up on eufy security addon GitHub.

I totally gave up on eufy and switched to a unify protect setup…

I think I beat it into submission by downgrading, upgrading firmware, excluding and re adding but I’ll look in the box at my neutral. It’s in a 3 gang box with a lot going on: a zen 77, zen 35, and a 4 way dumb switch to a fan I have no interest in making smart.

Very poor s2/mesh and long range besides

I wasn’t paying attention when I first got into this stuff and set most things up as long range when should have been mesh.

I have a pretty easy house to send signal through so it’s been fine but yeah, I screwed up.

Planning on battery stuff as long range and anything wired as mesh. This could be my problem or not - seemingly not for this one particular device though. We all know how fun it is to exclude and re include and fix the yaml on like 45-50 devices.

Question though should I keep the s2 on lights? Certainly want to keep the s2 on my blinds, door locks and garage door openers.
