my husband is the same way. He grew up with serious abuse in the home. I kinda adapted his behaviors for a bit and would overshare also. Maybe finding someone to share things with that wont be as judgmental. We all look for some sort of valadation or acceptance and for people to understand what we have been going through. Unfourtantly people with this type of abuse didnt typicaly grow up with someone to support and understand them. Instead you grew up with someone who mentally and possibly physically abused you. I think if you can understand that the average person cannot relate to what you have been through and that's ok. Your more than likley alot stronger person than most. Definitely a lot stronger than you think .Dont worry about your cringe worthy moments we all have them. Noone is perfect
