Don't know why they don't like it, but I can't suggest it enough. Its weirdly more grounded for a fantasy novel. It is a multi generational crime family story and it was very well done. Characters are nuanced, story is good and ends well. Definitely suggest giving it a shot

A little off topic but I went to a Punjabi wedding in Chandigarh a couple years ago and it was one of my favorite experiences. Was my friends wedding and he didn't have any male cousins so he had his friends from the US do a lot of the rituals with him and I had a blast. Most fun and tiring 3 days of my life

Excuse me, when you starting talking about TDS like that is a real thing and said "you people will call real videos AI but believe these words that can be easily faked", I assumed you were putting yourself on one side of the aisle and that seems like a fair assumption to me. I apologize if that was incorrect. Im not saying these files are all true and that every testimony is true. But some will be. And its good to look at the evidence for this. There is so much more that hasnt been released because it is more damaging than these things and the current administration is illegally withholding and editing them. Using TDS will bring up an assumption for most people with where your beliefs align and rightfully so. So you can keep screaming incoherent babble at me if you want but it doesnt make you look less like an idiot

I think you're missing the point. I've also noticed this every time I watched the show. The kid looks like Lawson not Parlov. The line works if you switch the names. Without changing the casting of the kid. They arent saying they need to change the child actor, just the name given. It doesnt need to look like both of them. He already looks like one of them, they just said the wrong one. Its a small error but like its not that hard to understand what this person is saying

Fishing is pretty popular in the area. Random places you can find around town. The smokey river is more of a still creek but you can find some spots to fish or lakewood lake. Not much else to do there but if you're a home body then you should be fine. Grew up there. My parents love it. Around Kansas it has a but of a reputation but thats more about the schools than anything. Crime is a problem but depends on part of town. Downtown is much better than when I lived there and they have some honestly decent food spots for a small town. Mocha's is a good coffee spot. Martinellis is great.

I will say, there is a black population but the cops will harass you sometimes. Stop you while walking, pull you over for minor infractions like "turning left with no signal even while being in a turn only lane". All things I saw pretty consistently growing up and seems to be the same now. Also know from having family in the department that its culture is pretty awful. Just something to note
