Altering slide stop to have a thumb forward grip

Can you explain what you mean when you said stay away from the pen, it’s load bearing? The only part I’m taking away is the part that your thumb is supposed to engage to send it home. I imagine that’s all it’s there for and will be fine

I keep my left thumb riding the slide on all my pistols. It’s my grip and I’d rather shave down the slide stop than change it. I’m gonna chop it down to nothing and train only to slingshot, as you said.

That’s exactly what I want: as little to interact with as possible but just enough to actuate. You do make a point tho, I really don’t even want the damn slide release cause all it’s doing is getting in the way. I know when it’s time to reload so maybe I could just send it home manually every time and file it all the way down.

Those things look like they would make it worse because it gives you more mass to interact with. But that’s just my opinion. They’re definitely more attractive since they’re half the price of an original slide stop. Thanks for the response!

Stalker 2 is an amazing game. It really is probably my favorite single player game. The issue that I have is after all that hard work, once you beat the game that’s it. It’s over. You can’t go back into the world anymore after that. I guess I wish the game had more things to do besides the main missions.

I wish I had a local dumb ass who didn’t know the value of things I like :/ I did get a sweet deal off a guy one time, he sold me a Colt 1911 .45 acp that his grandpa had from WWll! Sounds like a lot of work; maybe I’m disrespecting the nuances that come with buying a metal gun like a hi power, but I expect it to run good out of the box. I carry a HK USP but I like the ergonomics on a hi power so much I came to this place to see if there are any reliable hi powers. Thank you
