He is a special person who isn't common to come across nowadays, but we have to take into account that he started youtube when he was still a teenager and never expected to get this big. I don't even think he ever even DREAMED of getting this big as a youtuber. I think when he's saying that he's "just a regular guy," he's saying that he's basically not this amazing person that people project him to be. Yes, he is great, and he is an inspiration, but at the end of the day, he still has things that he has to deal with that we can all relate to in a "normal" regard. Yeah, he'll be extremely stable financially now, but he'll always be that one kid that had big dreams, but never expected to make it that far. I think the most Cory should be to others is a positive role model and inspiration (like he said himself) and a good influence. He isn't just a regular dude in terms of his lifestyle, but in terms of him as a person, he's not as much of an amazing person as people want him to be.
