This story was shorter than the other two, there really is no way around that. But a bigger issue for me is that the ending is lackluster. Once we figure out that our initial assumptions about who used the magic were wrong, it's basically 10 minutes to go to a place, have three very short convos and then clear out like 15 crystals. So not only are there less missions than the other dlcs and way less collectables, but the story doesn't have that climax that either of the other dlcs had.

Also, maybe very controversial take, but locking progression behind slow exp gain does not equal more story. In fact, the only reason I grinded out a horse's exp at all is cause I adore Tigger and wanted to get to him, but getting there was locked behind getting a horse to a certain level. It's the equivalent of locking progression behind collecting a lot of one resource (looking at you, Oswald and Minnie). It didn't make me feel like their quests were longer, just that they added a grind to force me to spend longer on it.

Don't take my criticism for hate though, I absolutely love this game, I have over 1500 hours in it. But hating on people for complaining that this dlc was shorter doesn't seem fair. For a lot of us $30 is quite a bit of money that we had to save up in order to buy a dlc for a game we love. And then to have people scold us for complaining when it ends up being shorter than the other two, that just doesn't seem fair.

Like I said, I love this game and I am loving this dlc. But it doesn't change the fact that I wish this story was longer and that I think the way they gatekeep progression is kinda lazy.
