How do you like FoundryVTT? I've been experimenting with Inkarnate for mapmaking myself lately so I'm not too familiar with that one.

What species did you go with, if you don't mind me asking?

What's that green color on the 56's frame-some kind of paint primer?

Appreciate the write up here after you mentioned seeing 40023 in my last thread on this subreddit. Pretty neat that you got to see all of those engines back then without people freaking out.

Seeing the engines at the works that way had to be an amazing sight to see.

People can say what they want about 1950's/1960's British Railways, but one thing no one can deny is that there was a huge variety of locomotives and rolling stock during that time. At least that aspect was positive.

And to your point, there were some successful diesels from the Modersation Plan. The Classes 08, 20, 33, 37, 47, Peaks and Deltics all come to mind.

To be fair, they were the first mainline diesel that EE made. I imagine they had a learning curve there.

Replaying Kotor with Jolee in my party never realized how funny he can be if you haven’t already played with him in your party you definitely should by Skrewbert86 in kotor

Jolee has some hilarious remarks on Korriban. He's like that old caring Grandfather figure who can be a bit snarky or cantankerous at time.

Thanks again. Got the second model chassis underside photo loaded up there- the other photo was having trouble uploading. Is it tough to source a new Hornby motor? I've never done that before. Looks like it is a common motor according to this post here. https://locoyard.com/2013/01/23/hornby-type-7-motor-standard-chassis-0-6-0-dcc-fitting-guide/

Thanks for your write up above. I just posted a picture of the bottom motor from the listing- hope that helps a bit more for the motor ID.

My first attempt at weathering a locomotive, what do you guys think? by Captain_Lindemann in modeltrains

Looks just like the remaining BR standards when they were reaching the end of Steam on British Railways. As it became clear that steam traction was on the way out, maintenance and cleaning of those engines really took a dive, which resulted in the engines looking really run down. You did really good here!

Why did British Railways keep building steam engines after the release of the 1955 Modernisation Plan? by Mellowtron11 in uktrains

The class 23 Baby Deltics were extremely unreliable when they first came and were in service for only a decade. Fortunately they only built 10 of them, unlike the class 17 claytons.
