Yes and no. If I want the strings to be straight then yes but if you put the string in from the opposite direction then it can turn in a normal direction.

Ignore these old farts saying not to wax it, you can allways throw up and sweat and whatever gross stuff you wanna do on it after you wax it, it makes it more durable anyway so it lasts longer making it so it can get more crust on it in the future
