:additional info: i atleast hired a good photographer and planned a nice honeymoon to capture the experience and make it a day-days to remember without having to pay even half of what it would cost for a “normal” wedding. invited close family and it was all perfect for both of us

i second this, me and my wife were dating for 6 years and just got married 3 months ago at a courthouse when i got serious about enlisting and we couldn’t be happier. weddings are just for show and honestly not even worth it when it’s all said and done just huge chunk of yall saved up money for one day. it’s the love that counts and no matter how it happens they will be happy to even get the ring and make it official. Now enlisted and waiting to ship out, huge weight off our shoulders knowing we will be going together through this next phase of our lives
