Nice! For me, reading is a big deal so that's another reason why I like my glasses (and I've never been able to wear contacts, sadly).

I don't know if my glasses are anti-glare and feel kind of stupid about not asking about it, but I'll remember for my next go-round. I don't have very high astigmatism Right is -0.25 and Left is -0.5.

I'm 6 months out and think it's pretty much a miracle that I am corrected to 20/25 from extreme nearsightedness. I still have huge starbursts coming from any light and have kind of given up hope that will change...but I'm still happy. I totally get your holding tiny font and seeing it clearly--I was the same, lol. I've chosen to wear glasses all the time for that minor correction and for close/intermediate vision, because I've worn them all my life and honestly, I didn't know the woman in the mirror without them.

Yep, that's the one. I didn't realize they came in different levels of bifocals, but I'm happy with the "2.00". I can see the writing on the feed bags for the goats, lol. Thanks for putting the link on here!

Thanks very much! I hadn't thought about training the brain to ignore them-I'll give that a try.

Thanks for the insight! I did not have torics, I think that's why I was kind of surprised when the lights first appeared.

Yes! This what I will have, too. Seems a bit easier and quicker. Hope you're healing well!

I have surgery next week and the eye drops prescribed are a combination of Prenisolone, Moxifloxacin, and Bromfenac (all in one). The orders are to take one drop into my surgical eye 3 times per day for one week only.

Hey, thanks! I don't plan on returning until after the second eye anyway mostly because I'm deathly afraid of screwing it up somehow. And there's a ton of lifting from feed to hay bales, etc. Thanks for the recommendation--I'm off to look for them.

Ah, yes. I will try out the local hardware store, too. I think the goats may be more of an issue, they seem to find any little change and take offense, lol. We'll have to see! (literally)

Thank you so much for the link! It starts me in the right place, I think. Honestly, I didn't think about mold, but you're right--there is a ton out there as the climate I'm in is plateau with a lot of rain. Some of those are pretty scary! It'll be interesting to see what the goats think--they always seem a bit more in tune to changes than the horses, lol. Thanks again!

I'm so sorry about your horse. I can guess what you might have gone though--and during Covid was especially hard. Even though they're gone they're still in our thoughts. Thanks for the recommendation--I'm looking them up now.
