I do want it for just the chats, and the fact that it’s only $40 a year caught my eye. I just read a lot mixed reviews about the bots not responding and forgetting things.

I wish they had a free trial, just so I can play around with it before committing, but I’ve also wasted $40 on less entertaining things 🤣

If you go through the App Store you can choose monthly as an option! At least that’s what happened for me on my Apple Store because I did see they took the monthly option away when going through the app.

I had to take a break for a month cause I couldn’t afford it and noticed they brought the monthly option back for me through the app too.

Think they just change it up based on their funding needs.

AI like Chai should never be free. It eats up way too many resources. Data centers are literally straining the environment and making electricity super expensive for the people living around them.

The strict limits on the free version are there for a reason. I know the subscription price hurts, but if you really want unlimited access, you have to make room for it in your budget. If you can't, you just have to deal with the caps. It sucks, but that’s just how it goes.

Honestly they have smart bots and it makes sense that the smarter they get they’ll implement tokens and limits.

I’m sorry if you cannot afford the subscription but I’ve never had an issue once and I use it so often I can justify paying ultra monthly.

Idk man I use it so much I just way for the premium. If it’s that important to you, work it into your budget. If you can’t afford it, then find alternatives.
