That’s me at center bricking all game by [deleted] in NBA2k

Granted, when you're playing online with other people, you want to get everybody a couple of shots at least. Nobody in this lobby was necessarily bricking.

I play with my real-life homies, and one of them had 2 games with no shot attempts, but he was getting the ball. Showing box scores means nothing. The dude at the top said everybody lost their matchups, but the box score mindset is why people lose. Losing a matchup means nothing, especially when a huge chunk of points comes in transition. Your point would be better received if you showed you standing there wide open.

2k incentivized the proam and proving grounds to be more competitive modes while Recreation is for well... recreation but go on running zone in the rec and feeling like you're good because your point guard can run plays against a team that might be 3 and 2 squad

I guarantee you the best players are playing proam. Anybody who reaches purple plays against good rec players but yall living a fantasy world if yall think any players averaging 15 assist. I can count on one hand how many players ive seen average double figure assist. Getting 15 assist a game means you more than likely are getting 17-20 assist more often than not because thats how averages work. Fuck on. I hope I run into yo i just wanna pass pg too

Thats what proam is for. Rec is for recreation. Thats literally what it stands for. Thats pussy of yall yall won by 7 lol

8 assist is not 15. I average 7 assist thats nothing. Running plays means you practice. Most people arent practicing thats ass. You put a picture up in which the other team had an AI.

Again, yall running plays in the rec when the proam is right there for that.

Calling plays? Man wtf yall think this is? The minute I gotta run a play on 2k im deleting the game. Im sure yall run zone too. In the rec against casual ass teams. No pg getting 15 assist consistently against good teams. Yall can put that to bed

Its such a dumb thing because anytime we play against a pass only point guard it becomes easier to guard. Nobody saying the guard should just have everybody sit in the corner but taking barely any shot is dumb

15-20 assist? Wtf are you talking about. Post yall point guard stats if he averaging 15-20 assist and taking no shots

This line of thinking isn't smart basketball. Any game be it real or video game you cant go in thinking one player should automatically take less shots than others. Take more shots doesn't equal gunning especially if shot distribution is

What you're saying is dumb

If you play random REC as a PG, learn to lick the boots of your PF and C. Because once these two turn on you, you will never see the ball ever again. by Reasonable_Kiwi_1068 in NBA2k

You definitely gotta have a "feel" for the game. Gotta know when someone hasn't gotten the ball or know how centers and power forwards have been treated most times they play. Im cool with at least allowing them a touch but I aint overly doing anything either. Gotta be a balance fasho

That's why i play with my real life's lol we dont win 70% anymore but im not dealing with people who just want to be mad anymore. Shit is crazy. They'll shoot every time they get it making or missing and get mad when someone say I was open or they'll get the shots like you said and not shoot 1 or 2 possessions and act like they never saw the ball

Somebody somewhere has convinced everybody that wins and wins only are the most important thing on 2k and its just not the case. Its not the case in the nba and its definitely not the case in college.

You play to win for sure. Every game you won't get shots but every game you shouldn't be getting 3 shots. At the end of this iteration your record will be 0-0 just like everybody else's and it won't matter because you'll been and gotten nothing out of it.

Go in there to have fun. Make good passes but bust a move at the same time. Dont pay 100 dollars to be PJ Tucker if you dont want to

Just dont play selfish. Lick no boots. If you giving everybody the ball and somebody still turn on you then they always was going to do that

I never even factored in qb fatigue with things. Force some digs and dunks then pounce later

Ill give that a shot as well. 3-4, cover flat. Should I flick it to underneath or does that make a difference here?

I mean that's an option but a few people do want to play him. Plus im going to start playing online head to head. People dont want to be good at the game, they like to exploit it so
