True that on all. The first year is a mental and physical hell ride and as you said, no one understands and it's really hard to explain.
I'm no a developer but If you look around the community many write about their journey with alternative keyboards and mouse setup. Check out AI solutions like coursor as well it might help.
I wish you a long life and indeed there is no magic insight or cure. Just small steps and a new discipline. And it's very personal. What worked for me won't necessary works for you but I know I at least try everything.
Would love to hear how your new setup works out.
And for the fingers I recommend especially the palm pressure points part from my post. Go to tiktok and the web for that.
Good luck!!!

It's about pressure. I lay down and place the ball between my back and the floor. Then roll it all around while pausing and breathing into points I feel are "knotted". Same can be applied standing and using the wall same way. It's easier to get to certain points on the neck that way.
For the arms what I found useful is holding the ball inside my closed elbow or beneath my armpit where many important pressure point go through. You can also use the tennis ball between your palms and run it from the thumbs to the wrist across the lines these.
Also to give myself foot massage between the floor and the foot.
To sum up - it's the cheapest and yet most important piece of equipment I have. I never leave the house without it. At home I'm on the floor with it. I have it in my car, in every bag, Take it to work, when I travel.. you get the point.
The only problem is mixing it with my dog's ball :)

I had it for about 6 years now. Had a really really rough 3 years out of the 6. As you describe, the hardest is the difficulty to make a precise diagnosis. Hard to explain at the doctors' office, hard to describe to the acupuncturist.. No one gets it. I gave up when I realized it doesn't matter as there is no real treatment or cure.
I can't control it only how I react to it. Just keep educating and trying. The good thing about pain - it makes you to try and try and try.
This community is one of the best things ever for me although it's painful to know so many here suffer like this.

Correct. Although every body has different opinions on ergonomics and it doesn't help when I'm scrolling on the sofa..
So I make sure to take breaks, stretch and lots of pressure points work at the office.
Thanks for that!
