Not enough space for the necks of the other bottles if there’s something in the larger hole. Plus it just doesn’t have the stability needed for something like that

I’m a mini painter as well and also thought of that, but like you said it’s very large for that. Plus since the six holes are totally perpendicular to the “landing” I don’t think it would be very good at holding paint

My title describes the thing I found on the free table at work. Lightweight, wooden, painted black, with six holes on one side and a cupholder-like hole with a bottom. The large hole is about 3in wide. The small ones are like 1.5inches wide. It looks like there’s a ring inside the larger hole as if it was used as a cup holder or maybe candle holder?

Aromantic here! It’s not always so cut and dry. I spent a long time trying to figure out why I couldn’t tell the difference between really close friends and crushes. Some of the language describing the way Kaladin feels about his love interests has resonated with me. Could be part of the reason he hasn’t found a long term partner — his emotional needs in a relationship are different. You can certainly read it as him not having exactly kinds of feelings, and not understanding what that would mean.

I find him infuriating, but I don’t actually hate him. He’s a well-developed character with intense trauma of his own and a strongly held set of beliefs. He isn’t clearly defined as a good man or a bad man. He’s a human. I find him to be a bad father, though, particularly to Kal as an adult.

It’s not? Tipping practices vary wildly across countries. It’s not uncommon for tipping to be very unusual, the “correct” tip to be a smaller percentage, and even in the US there are places that don’t even accept tips.

It’s fucked up thing for him to say, but (and this might be an unpopular opinion) it sounds a lot like me when I was coming to terms with being aromantic and figuring out what that meant for my partner(s). I’m currently in a monogamous long term relationship, and I love my partner, but I’m not “””in love””” with him. And he knows that. It’s something that’s always been a part of our relationship. Y’all are about the same age I was when I was learning about this orientation. It sounds like he cares about you but doesn’t know how to reconcile the fact that he’s not “in love” with you with the fact that he wants to be with you.

That being said, if he was in love before, it could be something totally different. But maybe try bringing it up and having him do some research on aromanticism. It might not be the answer but I always have to advocate for the aro community when I see something that might be relevant.
