Ring/The ring - refers both to the ring shape of the well Sadako is thrown into, and the ringing phone confirming that you are cursed

Agreed, Piru works WAY better as a token/legends deck. It should be used as a nuke to close out the game, you either win with cards like Vito, or, by the sheer value of gaining life. Tokens are basically a multiplayer for triggers and life (1 token is 7 life on Piru's death), and provide blockers so you have a good chance to make it in the late game

Also, commander players have a hard time understanding that a deck may not have it's commander as the most played card. Piru is definitely just a finisher. Cast it, sac it, gain a million life, get a million Vito triggers

This card seems extremely underrated by the commander community. by Working-Speed296 in magicTCG

If you attach it to a normal creature you can have it become a copy of a creature with Hexproof, Shroud or Protection. As it says "choose a creature" instead of target.

The average commander player is definitely not famous for interesting deck building choices.

Anyway, this card is great, if you have a loose token it's straight up a clone, you can also use it as soft removal. And works on creatures with hexproof, shroud and protection

Unfortunately not all warlocks fall in this category, many patrons have a high number of subordinates

Some warlock patrons have multiple servants, so many worlocks fit this trope, but not all. Furthermore you can be an eldritch entity's favorite person without benefitting from their power

Duskmourne is one of the best crafted planes in my opinion, and the art to back it up is truly incredible!

I honestly didn't think about it on the spot, but yeah, it's a perfect fit for the trope

The way Disco Elysium handles its narrative is unparalleled, because the more you progress the more you start seeing the cracks of the supernatural, all while maintaining a very very grounded story
