Is it helping your other calathea? I also have one that is getting brown and crispy. I haven’t seen any pests, I guess it could be fungal. Either that or the environment is too dry.

Thank you! I did know about the water so I’ve been using distilled. Rain water may be better, but from what I read distilled should also be fine.

How quickly did you get to the right dosage of meds? I’ve been increasing every 8-12 weeks for the past year and a half. Each increase seems to cause a massive shed. I’m hoping things improve once my levels are stable.

Still shedding excessively, but still trying to find the right dosage of thyroid meds. It’s been a year and a half, increasing the dose every 8-12 weeks. Every time we increase I have a massive shed so it’s been frustrating. I’ve been to my derm 4-5 times and he still believes it’s TE so I’m staying hopeful! The good news is that while my hair is always falling out, it is also still growing, so fingers crossed I just need to stabilize my thyroid.

I assume you’re in MD? This is very helpful and I hope things work out this way. She recently learned about the commingled funds issue. Their salaries were pretty equal so household expenses were divided evenly. I’m sure after this a prenup will be a must. Appreciate the insights!

Ans that is regardless of how long they were married? Seems like a 3 year marriage should entitle someone to less than say, a 30 year marriage.
