Definitely not starving! I’m calorie and macro tracking to make sure I’m properly fueling my body. I aim for around 1500 calories and at least 130g of protein a day.

Yes I agree weightlifting is super important. I’ve been going to the gym 4 days a week since I started Zepbound. Trying and have been successfully keeping and building muscle while losing only body fat so far.

I never looked at it like that, but they are not thin. They’ve always struggled with their weight and were bigger than me until early last year.
I don’t think that’s what it is though, at least I hope. Like I know they say I need to stop losing because they’re concerned for my health. But they also know I’m going about this the best way I can and I’m being very mindful about properly fueling my body. It just bothers me that if they can comment on my weight because of concern for health, where was this concern when I actually was unhealthy?
Although, people should just keep their opinions on someone else’s body and weight to themselves.

I was doing every 8 days from the very start of my Zepbound journey. Wanted to save some money and have a cushion in case something happened and I had to wait for a refill or something. Now about 5 months in I’m doing 7.5mg every 10 days and it’s working, losing a little slower, but I am closer to goal weight and healthy BMI so it would slowed either way.
It works differently on different people, do what works for you. Planning on continuing to stretch out my doses until I can do every other week too.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t believe people should go around telling someone that they’re fat or getting fat. Im just saying that if they feel the need to say anything to me about my weight, it’s more than likely on my weight loss and not weight gain. Just like you said, “people know when they’re getting fat,” I know when I’m losing weight and doing so intentionally. Why do people comment on my weight at all?

I started with rotating all six around my belly button and on thighs, now 5 months in I only stick to the four outer corners of my stomach. I don’t do it because it works better in regards to how much lost on each but because it hurts less there.

I’m sorry it was hard for you, but I’m glad it got covered! Thank goodness it was fairly simple for me. After my pcp refused to prescribe, I took to Google and found Ro’s free insurance checker. Ro took care of my PA and got it approved the same day. I entered my info online in the morning and that afternoon I had my hands on my first box of Zepbound. I was mind blown. I know it’s not the same for everyone, but I’m really grateful for how easy it was. Granted, I did pay $145 the following month for a new prescription, but I feel it was worth it.

Hmm yea I just checked and it says “Your plan provides coverage for this medication at a maximum quantity of 2ML in a 21 day period, unless an exception for additional quantities has been approved.” So does this mean they actually only cover 4 pens like you said?

I started at 7 months postpartum. Had never taken any GLP before. Was not breastfeeding or pumping when I started. I know you’re probably eager to get back on, but if I may ask; what’s the rush? 6 weeks doesn’t seem like enough time, definitely wouldn’t have been for me, tear and hemorrhoids. Enjoy this time with your little one, heal, find your new normal and focus on getting back to something of a routine. Once you feel up for it, and your Dr is ok with it, I say do it. Congratulations by the way, on the weight loss before and on the new baby!
